Another #Scareathlon #TeamSlaughter mini game. My horror novel would be called: 🦴Killing Black Bones 🦴 That‘s a horrible name for a book! What would yours be? Feel free to repost, my #TeamSlaughter peeps, it‘s worth 1point. #PointsTotal-84

1. My horror themed bookmark baggie which I had been desperately searching for. I like a different character each time I finish a book.
2. Right after it was mentioned on @ReadingGlasses it was the first time I'd heard of it
3. The nachos from Owls Nest pretty bomb, but I don't think they are famous
4. 130AM the first time, 5AM I got out of bed
5. Several books, vitamins, chapstick, clock

Finished up this month‘s fantastic #weknowwhereyoulive #horrorswap pick and it will be on its way to you @BookwormAHN Friday. Be prepared, this one was super creepy!
This is right up my alley. I love horror and a good scare, especially in book form. Can‘t wait to get my match and share some books!

I had to go with a group because pages only allow two poll options. If you‘re voting through Litsy just comment your choice. :)
“How this will work:
Each book will be read in daily chapters. Between books, a week will be allowed for a break and discussion. New books will be voted on at the start of the previous books so @TheGhastlyGrimoire can take a break too. There will be three books in each selection, and those not chosen may show up again.”
First vote will begin later today and reading will commence next Wednesday. To vote...

This year, I had the pleasure of reading Stephen Graham Jones, John Langan, and Ania Ahlborn for the first time. Their House of Windows ( best literary Twilight Zone-y story out there), Demon Theory ( for flipping the script, but managing to still homage horror) and Brother (for leaving me with not the thrill but the shock of horror that such bad things occurred) were my favorite books of horror this year.
