Enjoyable, but not hugely memorable.

Pro‘s: Griffith‘s tiny house business, Kelly‘s tulip farm, Griffith‘s patience helping Kelly with her orgasm problem, Griffith feeling obligated to employ his brother but figuring out where that obligation ends.
Cons: Apparently there aren‘t many people in town. Kelly dates Griffith. Kelly‘s sister Olivia dates Kelly‘s ex Sven, Kelly‘s best friend dates Kelly‘s dad, and Kelly‘s mom runs off with Olivia‘s ex, who‘s Griffith‘s brother.
I came home the other day to surprise bookmail. A free copy of this book sent by the author, Susan Mallery. Such a nice treat. I am excited to read this book 😄
Susan Mallery is definitely a comfort read for me. Ive been where olivia was but also where kelly was too.

What fun listening to this book! I live in a Dutch settled town that celebrates tulips and all things culturally Dutch once a year with a huge festival! And the tulips are just starting to bloom for that festival now! My town could have been the inspiration for this book ???? with a fun storyline and interesting character relationships, it was a thoroughly enjoyable read or "listen" ?
First book from Susan Mallery. I thought it was good but not great. It had an interesting story but it seemed to go on and on. I enjoyed it enough to that I'll try another book from this author again.

Half way through. Not loving it - but not totally hating it. Feels too much like a romance novel to me. Too much sex!
Normally I love Susan Mallerys womens fiction but this one was just boring. Boring characters, boring town and weird relationships.
I love reading her books. I enjoyed this one a lot. It follows three family members, two sisters and their father. They each have to get over past hurts and current secrets.
Please someone tell me how to get a job editing. This is a high profile author at a high profile publishing house. Sorry but this is unacceptable. #typosmakemecrazy
This just came avail via the e-library. I've been looking forward to it but then read a review stating it had way too many "ick" factors. So now I'm really apprehensive (especially after The Roanoke girls ?). So I'll proceed with caution but if it's what I think it might be, I'll be taking Susan Mallory off my list.
#TBRtemptation post 1! Recently released. A 4-star rating on GR. Kelly has a routine life as a tulip farmer. Things change when the town's prodigal son, Griffith, returns and sets his sights on her, and when her estranged, unwelcome sister, Olivia, comes to stay. When they butt heads, their secrets tumble out publicly and awkwardly. Will they eventually forgive and come together? #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
A smart, fun, contemporary, relatable book about two very different sisters — the farmer and the fashionista. https://randombookmuses.com/2017/08/04/review-quick-and-dirty-3-secrets-of-the-t...
Wow. Where do I start? I am a huge Susan Mallery fan. Huge. But I did not like this book. One of the reasons I love her books so much is because I can always count on her to keep it clean. No F-words, no vile, crude language. This had no f-words that i remember but i wish i had known the word "dick" was going to appear so many times, i could have kept count. Plus, i didn't cry not one time. I always cry reading a SM book!
