I love these girls. Such a fun series, great characters, fantastic artwork.

Another solid installment. It‘s holidays, and Susan is dealing with family troubles (her sisters are just awful), Daisy is struggling with coning out (or not) to Granny, and Esther...is being Esther. Back to uni and the hijinx continue. And WHAT is going on between Susan and McGraw?!

One word only... CHINCHILLAS!!!! 😁

The humor content is pretty good in this volume.
Starting from family troubles to protests to having a mysterious garage the range of this comic is incredible.

First book to start in 2020! One of my goals for January is to catch up in this series. I started to in 2019, but other stuff got in the way. It is a lot of fun, though. I need to get on it!

I let an entire year pass between reading volume 6 and the next two. Shame on me! I love this group of friends and reading about their experiences becoming adults. I also have a huge crush on McGraw. 😍 I just find him dreamy and I don‘t know why. Lol.

Maybe not my favorite volume of this wonderful comic, but like pizza, not my favorite is still pretty outstanding.

Family troubles, roommate problems, protesting, and mystery garage. I love the humor in these.

I loved this graphic novel about 3 girls in their first year at university. It‘s a light-hearted, charming, quirky and fun read. The friendship between the characters is heart-warming, realistic, and one of the biggest reasons I liked this so much. It has some great humor, and I can‘t wait to read Volume 2. #booksandtea

I found this one uneven. Susan is such a relatable character, & spending time w/her family was really enjoyable. But I didn't love more plots & subplots about irritating Ingrid and Dean, & was less than thrilled w/Esther's protest plot (but it was so Esther, what are you going to do?). But a chinchilla mystery was kind of a cute way to end, & I'm loving the hints about McGraw & Susan! Could this be the beginning of a reunion?! I can't wait!

I relate to this so hard.

Haven't read one of these in a while. Nice break from some of the heavier stuff I've been reading.

I have 19 books left on my 2018 TBR after finishing this. It seems crazy that the year is winding down so quickly. My goal is 100 books & if I finish all 19 I‘ll be at 102. That number includes graphic novels—including all the volumes of Giant Days. I fell in love with this series in 2018! Esther, Daisy, & Susan are great characters individually & their relationship is friendship goals! I have vol. 8 & the extra credit volume saved for Dewey‘s!
