I enjoyed this book at first and even more when I realized that I had no idea what was going on! I got this book at $1 Store and it kept turning pages every evening this week! I love when the dollar store has books that catch my interest!🌟🌟🌟🌟

I just wasn't that into this one. Its just ok. I was left wanting more than this book offered.

This book had the potential to be really gripping but unfortunately there wasn‘t enough going on to hold my interest. I got half way through and gave up.
Well I wasn‘t expecting that! ...... I thought I had it all worked out
What was supposed to be a relaxing week away turns out to be not as expected. Be careful who you open your home to!! A buried past has ways of surfacing!

It dragged with the affair. As soon as they bought the victims mother in, it went fast. If only the whole book was as fast paced as the ending. Good plot and story line though. Have no idea why the author needed to mention Carl in the last sentence of the book, it is confusing since she already came to terms with the fact she loved her husband.
It Took awhile to get into this book but i was interested in were it was going, few twists and turns and turned out a good book to read, some things were very unexpected 🙊
🥳🥳🥳 I finally won something 🥳🥳🥳
Going to read a few chapters of this little number before I make supper and have a few bevvies with the other half 🍹 #loveasnugsaturday.
Really enjoyed this one! Will definitely look out for more from Rebecca Fleet. There were unexpected twists throughout that had an emotionally resounding ending. A reminder we can‘t outrun our wrongs and for me personally a reminder to always be mindful of what karma you‘re sending out into the world. Listened to the play away device and it made for a good audio. Although one part of the book sounds like it‘s narrated by Lord Voldemort.
Be careful who you let in' Caroline arranges a houseswap with a stranger online...it seems like a great way to have some time with her hubby rebuilding their relationship. But the stranger isn't a stranger and is someone from Caroline's past she would rather forget. This book had the perfect blend of suspense, plot twists and a conclusion I did not anticipate

Caroline and Francis‘s marriage is hanging on by a tiny thread, so many things left unsaid they tiptoe around each other. Deciding to participate in a house swap they trade their London flat for a small house in the suburbs. But, what‘s suppose to be a vacation to heal their marriage may end up breaking them up for good. This was ok, the twist didn‘t seem that twisty and I didn‘t seem to care about the characters.
This book could put you off house swaps for life! 😁🙀. Quite a creepy read and keeps you wondering. A couple of twists. Well plotted story.

You can‘t have your cake and eat it. Strange expression. It makes no sense, unless you know that in the past, ‘have‘ was used to mean something more like ‘keep.‘ You can‘t keep your cake and eat it. You can‘t hang on to something and destroy it, too. Wanting to keep your memories safe, and at the same time wanting to wake up one morning and find that they‘ve been wiped out of your head...
Not as thrilling of a thriller as I was hoping. It worked itself up too much so that the twist was rather disappointing. I don‘t read thrillers often so maybe I was going into it with my expectations too high.
Mixed reviews on this one, but gonna give it a go anyways. Let‘s see if I make it to the end! 🤔
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Engrossing. Had a hard time putting it down. I was slightly disappointed in the twist but it tied the story together. Secrets, lies, obsession. A story of love and loss.
I struggled with this book from the first chapter, I decided to push through and quite frankly it didn‘t get any better for me. I felt zero connection to any of the characters, and while I did finish there wasn‘t much to keep the pages turning for me
Caroline and Francis decide to swap houses with someone else using a website. Caroline thinks she is just swapping houses with a stranger. What she doesn't know is the person she swaps her house with knows her deep dark secret and is out for revenge! This book was slow at first, but when the twist started to come I didn't want to put it down!
Really enjoyed this one! If you‘re on the fence about it, and read thrillers, I suggest reading it! Keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time, and then totally famishes you! 🤩🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Switched books halfway up to camp.. and bought one when we stopped in WalMart, because The Favorite Sister just wasn‘t doing it for me today.. 😔😝 This one is better! 🇺🇸 🥂 #amreading
This was a pretty good thriller, Ms. Fleet really tossed a curve ball in this one. I was playing beat the clock because it was a Read-it-First book and I barely made it before it expired. I thought it was nicely done, there have been mixed reviews but on the whole I liked it. The protagonist had me going in several directions at once which kept it interesting that‘s for sure. It started falling together towards the end and blindsided me.
I was expecting a taut, nail biting psychological thriller but this is more subtle than that. I would have liked more depth to the male characters as they seemed two dimensional at times. I did enjoy it for the most part though. Rating: 3 ⭐️
Thanks to Netgalley and publishers, Random UK/Transworld, for the opportunity to review an ARC.
I started this ARC yesterday and I'm hooked. The suspense is building up and I think it's not gonna end well...
The first emotion this book evoked in me was disinterest and the last emotion was happiness — thank God the book is done, and I can delete it from my kindle. It very nearly became DNF. Took me 5 days to read.
Enjoying this ARC so far!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Creepy and suspenseful thriller 👍
Now, as my brain can barely pull two comprehensive thoughts together, I bid you all GOOD NIGHT. 😴😴😴
1. It‘s a pretty even split between the two.
2. 15, Donna Vanliere‘s Christmas Keepsakes
3. Purple
4. Black, maybe
5. Veronica Roth
6. Read 😏📖
April haul from the e-library plus one ARC (House swap)! Looking forward to start these, plus I love the covers for the Merry Spinster and The Punishment she deserves.
