tpixie @SexyCajun yes- Onward Litsy! was created when Library Thing took over. To help with suggestions & problem shooting- but it‘s kind of expanded a little to other topics. Not certain how many have joined. It‘s kind of confusing- there‘s 2! Onward Litsy! ( newer) and Litsy. But they just got active really since the transition to library thing. Neither one were used much before that. @BkClubCare 6y

tpixie @SexyCajun LibraryThing is a place on the Internet (and there‘s also an app) where you can catalog your books. It‘s similar to goodReads. LibraryThing bought Litsy recently. People on Litsy can transfer their books from GoodReads to librarything if they want (the list still stays in Goodreads) for no charge. @kgriffith would be able to explain it better probably. So far there are no changes to Litsy. 6y

kgriffith @tpixie You covered it pretty well! :) The difference on Facebook is that one is a page, which is like a business profile, and the other — Onward Litsy! — is a group where people besides official Litsy admins can post and discuss whatever comes up. LibraryThing is an online catalog for your books and also a discussion forum, and has some similarities to goodreads and also some differences — the data, for example, is much deeper. 6y

IT‘S HAPPENING! #Meetup #KCLitsyMeetup 2:30pm Sat., April 21 @ Lackman Library Conf. Rm (branch of JoCo system). Any KS/MO/Midwest Littens are welcome! I‘ll be the point person on this since @ElyssaReads is in super-teacher-mode through May.

UPDATE: people have expressed interest, so we will do a blind book swap! Used or new pb/hb, wrap & write a few hints on the paper. I‘ll also have bookmarks to write everyone‘s names/Litsy handles on.
