The official snow total where I live in Colorado came in at 27.1”. Ripley decided to climb one of the snow hills in the back yard to the top, keep in mind the top of the fence is three feet.

Ugh....only one?? I'm going to choose my Norton's Anthology of Women's Lit, because it has SO MUCH good stuff.

My face when I have to go to work in the snowstorm instead of staying warm and cozy at home with a book
This fresh hell is headed my way this week... I am in the 12-18” area... 😩🤬😭
This week, #weather in my area was a bit more like winter than fall. I took this picture of my backyard on Thursday during Winter Storm Avery. This was before the snow changed to sleet, then to rain. Thanks to the storm, I had my first snow day from the library for the season. What did I do? Read, of course!! #Gratitude30
3.5 hours to travel the 62 miles home from work tonight in a snow and ice storm. Damn straight this is my dinner.
The cat, of course, is unperturbed by my experience. 🙄

Here‘s my blizzard reading stack. Power is out at home, giving me an unexpected partial day off. My Kindle is fully charged and there are plenty of unread books on there waiting for me. And maybe I can finish the book I started when we lost power in the storm a little over a week ago. Hope all my fellow New England littens are staying safe and warm today!
