Another thing I did last week instead of reading was try to plan my TBR for #Screamathon this year. I‘m still undecided, but looking forward to a spooky October. 🎃

The first of a cozy mystery series, Tally becomes a prime suspect of the murder of her ex-husband's new girlfriend. This wasn't bad, but I did feel something was lacking. I did suspect the killer very early on, though not the reasoning, and it was mostly a hunch. Not sure if I'll continue the series or not. #cozyinthesun @ferskner @Librarybelle

xxjenadanxx I'm not a huge horror fan but I enjoyed The Conjuring and Wrong Turn and The Skeleton Key (idk of that counts lol) and anything with zombies! 5y

Melismatic I‘m not picky, but I like the classics like Halloween or Child‘s Play that have elements of humor in them. And Hocus Pocus & Beetlejuice are worth multiple repeat viewings. 🤷🏻‍♀️🍿 5y

Chrissyreadit @AmyG yes- it‘s on bottom- I just used a fun color filter. I‘m trying to figure out how to ship a part of your package- I can put it together and risk mess, or give you component pieces and you put together, but not a cool oooh and aaah when you open it.....sigh. 5y

1 I prefer fast zombies or infected like ones in movies like 28 Days Later (one of my faves); not felt compelled to read ANY zombie books
2 Always enjoyed vampires and some werewolfy stories (American Werewolf in London is a fave)
3 LOVE both - do you mean SLASHERS?! I used to work on horror movies so I like it all

1. I always read a bit more then I expect I will. Lol
2. I have added Locke and Key. And I can‘t believe I haven‘t read Practical magic yet. It‘s on the TBR now.
3. I haven‘t decorated this year. The little‘s class is going to camp on the 31st. He‘s excited, but we don‘t want to rub in the fact that he‘s going to miss Halloween.
