Day 20 Writing. I actually love to write. I haven't done it for so long so I bought this book for some fun prompts. The journal was a gift from my brother and sister in law from Thailand. Feather pen from Amazon for $3 and change (pack of 4). #riotgrams

bookloo Okay, I‘ll say it. I LOVE your writing. 😍😍 And now I‘m invested in the story the moment I saw “...left with a broken skull” sentence. 🤓🤓 7y
mrozzz @bookloo waaaahhhhh what a compliment ☺️ 💜 7y
JacintaMCarter Are you doing NaNoWriMo this year? 7y
See All 7 Comments
mrozzz @JacintaMCarter it's unlikely.... I participated and won in '14 and '15 but skipped last year because I was lacking confidence. This year I might skip because I'd rather actually get some editing done instead of starting a new project! 7y
mrozzz @JacintaMCarter are you??? 7y
JacintaMCarter @mrozzz I'm attempting it. I usually do great for about 5 days, and then I get distracted. So we'll see how long I make it this year. 7y
mrozzz @JacintaMCarter You can do it!!!! 🙌🏻 7y

Reggie I enjoy these. You gonna write a book? Or have you already? 7y
mrozzz Aww thanks @Reggie I did write a book. I am on my second draft. It feels not quite done (endings are hard and I was very ambitious re: number of characters) so I like to do little writing bits and bobs to keep me thinking whether or not it's directly related to the book. 7y
MoniqueChristine Love this! Keep us updated on your books progress. Would love to give it a read when it's done 😋 7y
mrozzz @Monique that would be awesome, I will! I'm hoping to self-publish online ASAP even if I make major edits in the future it would be much easier to share as a hard copy book than hundreds of loose pages. 7y

bookloo Is it weird that you‘ve made me want to live in New York more? #NYcuckquean? 😝 7y
mrozzz @bookloo not at all strange! NY is the quintessential "rat race" if you're into that you'll do well there! 7y

RohitSawant 👏 Have you read N.K. Jemisin's The City Born Great? It's a fantastic story set in NY! 7y

SconsinBookyBadger Wow! This quote strikes a nerve. It reminds me of a toxic ex-friend who 20 years later tries, tries, tries to reconnect. And I'm like "I've grown up and moved on. Please stop clinging to the past. It's done and over with." 7y
mrozzz @anansigirl oh yes. I bet many of us have "that friend". I wrote this based on that ex-friend. Hoping I can have a cathartic experience writing more about the relationship. 7y
Reggie Sad to say I had a friend like that and in another instance, I was that friend. 7y
Reggie This is pretty good, I thought it was a quote from a book when I first read it and would have stacked it. 7y
mrozzz @Reggie thanks so much! That's high praise 😄 I mean it's the nature of us I think- we'll adapt to new aspects of our lives or we'll learn things that makes us more well-rounded individuals and we just grow out of relationships. It's not always bad. But often sad. 7y

ApoptyGina69 This would turn into a passive-aggressive litany! Awful face to face, but maybe good exercise to get it out of one's system. Neat idea. 👍 8y
Rachel.Rencher I could see this turning into a very "10 Things I Hate About You" type letter 8y
Reviewsbylola That sounds very compelling! 8y
rajithr You may hit upon that line between love and hate, and who knows, perhaps flip 😀 8y

Kappadeemom Cute!!! 8y
BookishMarginalia @Cinfhen The academic calendar in PR is different from the mainland. School here runs from early August to late May. In our school the seniors graduate June 1st. 8y
Gissy So cute and yummmyyyy! 😍😋 8y
ValerieAndBooks @BookishMarginalia @Cinfhen when we lived in Colorado the academic calendar was similar, but started in mid-August, and oldest son's HS graduation was on May 23rd. Enjoy your summer when it begins, @BookishMarginalia 😎 8y

I have almost this entire series of Agatha Christie graphic novels but they're not yet listed on Litsy. I haven't read them yet either so I don't know if I can recommend or not, but when Half Price Books has a sale you don't ask questions! 😂😂
#somethingforsept @RealLifeReading #septphotochallenge

Liberty I have that ampersand too. 💕 8y
Laalaleighh I want that ampersand! 8y
RealLifeReading Ooh Agatha Christie graphic novels?? 8y

Carol @Liberty oh good, I'm not the only one who buys randomly out of the Target dollar bins! 😂 8y
Carol @Laalaleighh unfortunately I got that out of the Target dollar bins like a year ago? I am always buying random stuff out of that that I convince myself I have to buy even though I don't know what I'm going to do with it at the time. 😁 8y
Laalaleighh @carol obviously use it for awesome Litsy pics of course. 8y
Carol @RealLifeReading yaaaass!!! I think I'll have time to read a few this weekend but I want to say there are about a dozen. They're a larger format than standard graphic novels and skinnier but it's Agatha Christie, amirite?! 😍 8y
Carol @Laalaleighh yes obvs 😂 though there wasn't a Litsy when I bought it. The world is a much better place now! 8y
Laalaleighh @carol infinitely better. 8y

shawnmooney Nearly 20 years ago, I studied under and was certified by Kay Adams to teach her Journal to the Self workshops, which I enjoyed doing for several years afterwards. For whatever reason, I myself have recently stopped journaling but expect I'll start back up again – I always do… Have ever since high school. :-) 8y
