“Your first love is important. It‘s part of your story. The story you‘ll tell yourself, the one you‘ll tell about yourself, for the rest of your life.
The one who broke your #heart 💔

This book kept me guessing and was ultimately a sweet tale.
This story sucked me right in on the first page. Spanning over 30 years we see Andy and Rachel meet again and again, and experience their lives separately, too. Relationships are messy, life is not always easy and people don‘t always make the best choices. This ends up being a pretty real look at love and relationships. I enjoyed my time with Andy and Rachel. (And we should all be more like Mr. Sills.) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 #bookspin #awesomeaugust
It‘s a rainy day, so I plan to make excellent progress on my #bookspin Bingo card and the #AwesomeAugust Readathon. Who Do You Love is my center square. I‘m going for the center vertical Bingo, but not sure if I‘ll get there and also read my #doublespin. Hazel is helping me keep track. ❤️📚🐶 #dogsoflitsy
Reading this one next for #bookspinbingo and #AwesomeAugust. ❤️📚
Started off strong, and then kind of plummeted from there. I won‘t say it was a waste of my time to read this, but it could have been better. Maybe it was just a little to depressingly realistic for the mood I was in. Anyways, another book checked off for August‘s #BookSpinBingo hosted by @TheAromaofBooks
This was the 1st book I‘ve read by Jennifer Weiner. I really liked it. I love to read books that cover many years in the character‘s lives and you get to see how they grow and change. This was exactly what happened in this book. My only negative comment is that it may have ended a bit abruptly. I would have loved to see the characters really come together and move into a life together. But overall a really good book.
Somedays you‘re sick and need a comforting read, cup of tea, and face mask and there‘s no one better to keep you company than Jennifer Weiner. Not winning any awards here, but EXACTLY what the doctor ordered.
“She made him laugh, took him out of himself, made him feel light when he could feel so weighted down...being angry about old grievances and insults, real and imagined.”

This book was good. I felt the book needed more between the two main characters. A decent read.
So I was already planning to post about my son and his wife when I saw this hashtag, but now I have even more reasons. They are going to Disney on a delayed honeymoon to celebrate their marriage last November and they‘ve invited me to join them the last two days so we can all go to Universal/Harry Potter!!!!!!! Also, they will come home with me and spend a few days before heading back to TX! You guys, I ADORE these two!!!

I ❤️family. My Dad was 90 last year, we celebrated his day doing only what he wanted. We had pie, mash & liquor for dinner ( an old east end dish), home made fruitcake, watched Arsenal replays on the TV and he sent his first email (he got so into it, he sent me 24 that afternoon-he‘s not stopped since!). I ❤️my mum for her strength and wisdom and I ❤️my partner of 26 yrs (husband for 18yrs) for everything 💕💕💕
The keepers of my ❤️❤️❤️

This lot for sure ❤️❤️❤️.
Met my husband online. For our first date, we arranged to meet in a bookstore. When I found him in the store, he was browsing the gay literature section. Think he was just trying to appear more sophisticated 😂😍❤️.
I married this dude under a homemade book arch, carrying a bouquet of lovingly handmade book page roses in May of 2016, though this will be our ninth Valentine‘s Day together. Any boy who takes you to a book sale on your second date is definitely a keeper! 😘📚💕 #whodoyoulove #heartsandhardcovers

Me and hubs! We grew up in the same town, went to the same high school and university, and had mutual friends but didn‘t officially meet until he started got a job in the cafe at the bookstore where I worked. We started dating in 2004 and got married in 2010! He puts up with all the stacks of books and even buys me more 😊

And I love Litsy and all of you guys, books, and Bentley 🐶
I need some updated pictures!! Lol
Well, dang! I was getting bored with this for the middle third, but the ending just got me! The narrator for Rachel wasn‘t my favorite. It sounded like she was smirking the whole time she was reading.

1. I stole the pic with the questions typed out from @Karen3
2. I prefer historic
3. Wine or a yummy Moscow Mule
4. Green most days
5. Who Do Ypu Love (audio), Bel Canto (hardcopy), I Let You Go (ebook)
It‘s far too cold to do anything but #audiopuzzle today. Cleaning bathrooms can wait!
I listened to this on audiobook and really enjoyed the difference in narration between the two main characters; Rachel and Andy. It‘s basically a childhood love story turned adult drama. A modern day Romeo and Juliet that had me hooked from Hansel and Gretel. If you love a love story you can‘t go wrong with this book. It was a quick read and I really enjoyed the scene of 9/11 which had me balling.
3.5⭐️‘s
I really enjoyed this book and these characters. I need a follow up so I can check in on where they are now.
Took me a while to finish but I found it interesting the whole way through. I thought the ending was way too abrupt but overall it was a great love story
I don't think anyone can love just a single person throughout their entire life. This is what happens when you find your heart at the age of 8. Flawed, imperfect and true love.
My favorite time of day. Reading on the patio at sunset 🌅📚
So I really really don't like to bail on a book. I'm stubborn and feel that if I've started it then I absolutely have to finish it. In order to give myself permission to move on, I've created a "Bail Sheet." It'll be a list of novels I tried but weren't committed and may return to at some point. It's the best idea I've had in a while. ??
"Isn't that the saying, about how all it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing?" True today, in this election year.
A story about soulmates. Rachel and Andy 1st meet when they're 8 years old, then again and again over the course of their lives. I liked it but wish there was an epilogue. Ending was a little abrupt for me. I like my endings long, drawn out, and happy.
I love the way that Weiner is not afraid to write truly flawed characters. These are people who mess up, have bad habits, make infuriating decisions, and feel all the more human because of it.
I liked this one a lot more than I thought I would. I listened to it and it was well done. Loved the dual narrative.
