Good. Enjoyed the continued story of the Fraser family. I listened to the Audio version of this.
#Audible
It took me a long time to finish listening to this one. I'm excited to start the next because I can finally get ahead of the TV series.
Just finished my re-read of this book!!!! I enjoyed reading this book so much!!! It felt great to visit the characters again. I rated this book a 4 out of 5 stars
5/5 stars. This book made me cry, laugh, feel eerie, squeal, and kept me guessing!

The most perfect day for reading. (And certainly this book). There's nothing better than getting cozied up by the fire and lost in a story. 🤓 #readingday #winterwonderland
So...picked this one up again. I flew through the first 4 books but 5 and this one have taken me forever. It's funny but I tend to go back to them during the holidays when I want to just get lost in a book for a while. I'm on page 489 of 8,042 (JK 😬) so we'll see how far I get. 🤓 #lostinstory #holidayread
Slow and steady wins the race. #booksandlunch #currentlyreading #workfromhome 📖🐛❤️🙏🏻✨
I like to listen to rain music when I read Outlander 🌧
Do you like to listen to anything special for particular books?
Book #6 in the Outlander series. And very aptly named I‘d say. Lots of snow, lots of fire…lots of learning peoples true intentions. I‘ve really enjoyed following along with the lives of the Fraser‘s.
I've been having a hard time adulting and instead living on Fraser's Ridge for the last couple of weeks. How do you keep from jumping right into the next book? Can you tell I've been living in that chair? Time to be in the present... for as long as I can stand it. #chunksterchallenge
I really enjoyed it but now the show isn't as good this season. I guess I knew it wouldn't be after I read the book. I didn't like Claire as much in the book. I really like Ian. I give this book 4.5 🔶
I'm this far into my April #chunksterchallenge
I didn't read at all last week, I couldn't go through the scene Claire endures with Hodge and his gang. I was just too exhausted from running a book fair and a book drive while teaching. But now I'm on my #springbreak and I can sit outside if the wind doesn't blow. In the next few days I'll catch up with some picture books (the library would like them back, they've written twice).
Spring break is coming. I've made 32% of my reading goal for this year & 92% of that is kidlit. I'm 38 days ahead of schedule, it's time to join the #chunksterchallenge2022
I'll start on this paperback and then when I get tired, download it to my kindle. #bookishproblems #outlander #reread
Did anyone else know that this has started again?? Just found out that I am a week behind as it started on March 6! So glad it is back. ❤️🥰📚📖

"The dog sensed them first. Dark as it was, Ian Murray felt rather than saw Rollo's head lift suddenly near his thigh, ears pricking".
I love this series!!! This book is one of my favorites!!!
Finally finished this! Took a lot of effort over two weeks where I had tons of other stuff going on, so am pretty proud of myself. While it could have benefited from some editing, this series is a real comfort read for me and I liked it a lot. It also explained a lot of what happened in season 5 of the show, although I‘m scratching my head a little at how the story seems to be diverging.
#SullivanCat can barely lean on this book, it‘s so big 😹
Yesterday was an amazing day for roof reading! I have less than 200 pages left in this monster and am trying to finish it this weekend. After a slow, albeit entertaining, middle section the action is seriously ramping up!!
Started this behemoth this weekend. I‘d put it off forever because it‘s just so LONG, but am 170 pages in and it‘s actually so comforting to be back with these familiar characters.
I have finally finished Vol. 6 in the Outlander series: A Breath of Snow and Ashes! I would listen to it at the end of a month when I had already read my #BS and #DS, so it took awhile. Anyway, it was wonderful. #109 #BookSpinBingo #23 #BFC21 #1 #SERIES2021 #FALLINTOREADING #SERIESSEPTEMBER
It has taken me 3 solid days to get to the end of this. You know it's good when you instantly download the next book. Kidnappings (yes plural) the return of characters, departing characters, and amidst the turmoil the protagonists stay rooted to one another as the American Civil War rapidly erupts around them. So much better than the TV series - which i know is loved (although Sam Heughan is particularly easy in the eye!)
I'm SO late, but thank you for tagging/including me, @DarkMina!
1. A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon (Historical Fiction)
2. Thumbs up! 👍🏻 - I love the mix of historical events, magical time travel, and herbalism. 🌿
3. Historical Fiction is probably my favorite, but I also love a good mystery thriller.
I won't tag anyone since I'm so late, but thanks for letting me play!

I first borrowed Outlander for a trip several years ago. It's a big book and I'm NOT a fast reader, so I put it to the side. A few years later I picked it up again, ready to try the series, not knowing I'd be reading about the Fraser family for years to come. I love the way Diana Gabaldon writes, so descriptive it draws me in completely. While this book does have adventure and scandal, I loved most the stories of life and family on Fraser's Ridge.
And now, I have the urge to watch/listen to Hamilton again 🤓🤷♀️
I should get up and take advantage of this break from the horrible humidity & heat we have been having and get some yardwork done. I am very much enjoying being able to actually sit outside right now though so....☕📖
Forever working my way through the Outlander series...
In honor of World Outlander Day I think it is about time I dive back into that series. I have been reading about 1 a year for the last several years because they are such beasts. Summer is the perfect time too because I have way more time to devote to reading.

I loved the first 5 books but by the sixth I lost interest in the series. Maybe I should try to pick it up again.
