- The Expanse (continue reread of main series and read some of the novellas I've missed)

pickOkay uni semester is over, lots has happened since I last posted. I turned 40, I gained a lot of weight, grew a beard, and FINALLY finished a book. It was a good one too, you know I love Seanan McGuire‘s work no matter what. This seems to set a lot up for later books (!!!). So I‘m going to try getting back into the exercise and reading while I‘m on winter break.

so-soStill entertaining and very readable, like all the other books in this series. But the writing was a little repetitive at times. The ending seemed a bit forced. Even though important things do happen, this felt more like a filler book. Kind of like, there was a pre-determined story arc, but then the series got renewed for another couple seasons and the original arc had to be extended. Hopefully the next two books are back on track.
pickY‘all this book was so good I did not sleep nearly as long as I should have yesterday because I kept ‘one more chapter‘ing until the story was done. Planning on reading the novella in the back tonight! I‘m absolutely certain I will love it. (I have yet to not love anything Seanan McGuire has written)
