“Never do something when someone else can do it for you” not a great lesson to teach a younger sibling hahah!

Great for kids who have older siblings. Relatable too.
…And when my son saw I finished Book #1, he promptly went and grabbed Book #2…Will Greg Heffley grow more endearing in the next tale? 🔮 I won‘t get my hopes up! 😆 💜 #raisingreaders 💜
This book is awesome graphica! The different font makes it extra engaging for kids! I also would say that the plot of the book is very relatable for young readers and very humorous too!
I have a big brother and this felt believable xD I really loved how entertaining this was to read: I laughed while reading. Some pictures were really good ones.
Greg is sometimes a bit mean and tries to solve things in questionable way but it's a good thing how there are also consequences.

Another cute story. The life of Greg with his older brother. They may avoid each other, but they still care.
Genre: Humor
Date Started: Jan 23rd
Date Completed: Feb 11th
How I chose this book: I just like to read these books because they keep you interested and it's a continuation of the series.
About the book: The book is about Greg and Rodrick getting all mad at each other and making each others life hard, except at the end when Greg becomes a hero.
Jeff Kinney‘s New York Times Best Selling Series, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, is a great series to recruit new chapter book readers. Roderick Rules is the second book in the series and is filled with more wimpy adventures. PR students will love this humorous book and be happy to know some of these stories really happened to the author! #ucflae3414fl19
My son stole my reading spot!
Final scholastic book haul of the year
Happy Easter everyone. Here we are yesterday enjoying family reading time in the hammock and well deserved champagne time for the adults of course.
“I guess Mom was pretty proud of herself for making me write in that journal last year, because now she went and bought me another one.”
Children would love these books because the person telling the story is a kid, just like they are. The pages are easy to read and the pictures / talk bubbles make the story interesting and fun.
Genre: Contemporary Realistic Fiction
A great sequel to the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid book. I also remember reading these books (and watching the movie) as a kid, and always loved them. I love the font of the text in this book, and how the pages have lines on them to look like a diary.
I never let a holiday or occasion go by without finding books for my kid. He was such a reluctant reader until I started finding books that interested him. Now, he‘s starting collections of series much to my delight. This will be his Easter haul to add to his shelves. 💙📚🐰
#lae3414sp19 The NY Best Seller “Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules” written and illustrated by Jeff Kinney (RF) is a comical book that is part of the series, Diary of a Wimpy Kid. As a child, I loved reading these books and I read each one as they were released along with all my other classmates. (cont. in comments)
Sitting outside with my little reader. She's reading the tagged book to me.

It's too windy to enjoy the incense stick we have burning/glowing.
Happy day! Came downstairs to find my reluctant reader voluntarily reading this book! May not be my favorite genre, but I‘m thrilled to find him connect with a book.

I read this (more than once) to my little grands when it was first published. And watched the movie together. Rodrick's band's name was Loaded Diaper 😂
This was a fun, quick book to read. Sometimes you just need something easy to read without having to think about it.
Same as beore I just didnt find it funny at all, but it did bring back some memories. 3/5 stars
This is the other #audiobook I finished today. I'm surprised how entertained I am by this middle grade book. The narrator does a great job at voicing the boy's sometimes droll humor. Fun, quick listen while working on correcting data entry errors(not mine lol).
Happy birthday to me :)🌟🤓

Debating whether or not I want to give Greg a second chance...
My perfectionist child and homework = OMG.
