'One of the best books I've read this year' Jodi Picoult The darkest beach read imaginable, with a protagonist that no reader could predict' Plum Sykes, author of Wives Like Us A twisty, gripping novel that wraps around a deeply moving love story, from an electric new voice in upmarket women's fiction. SHE THOUGHT IT WAS FATE. I KNEW IT WASN'T. Honor seems to have everything: she adores her bright and beautiful daughter, Chloe, and her charming, handsome husband, Tom, even if he works one hundred hours a week. Yet Honor's longing for another baby threatens to eclipse all of it ? until a shocking event changes their lives forever. Years later, Tom makes a decision that ripples through their families' lives in ways he could never have foreseen. As the consequences of that fateful choice unfold, two women's paths become irrevocably intertwined. But when old love clashes with new, who will be left standing? And what happens when your secrets come back to haunt you? Blending a page-turning moral dilemma with satisfying emotional poignancy, Finding Grace is a sweeping love story that explores the price of a new beginning, how the ghosts of our past shape our future, and whether redemption can be found in the wreckage of what we've lost.

This is a debut novel and while I thought it veered a little into 'soap opera' territory at times, I enjoyed it. The book is a love story, much of it told from an interesting POV. The characters were well developed, particularly the kids and the mother-in-law. While Tom's ongoing lies were often frustrating, the author usually managed to set up plausible reasons or situations for his failure to come clean, making him a tad less annoying. 3.75/5

Almost bailed on this book after pages and pages of the narrator whining about infertility. But then a stunner. And then a nice little love story. Lots of annoying mouthy characters, a cute little boy, a mother from France, a narrator with a sense of humor, a main character who you want to constantly strangle. A soft pick.

Reggie I‘m still gonna stack it! 2mo

Mehso-so

Almost DNF‘d this twice because I was so frustrated and ANGRY with Tom that I was about to start pulling my hair out…But, I‘m so glad I stuck with it, because I ended up loving the story!

And, yes, the rumors are true: The ending of chapter 1 😱

Overall, a good story, but it felt like a long, painful road to get there.

Finding Grace is a well-written and engaging debut novel. I really enjoyed it and was hooked from the first chapter, which ended on quite the cliffhanger. The characters felt real and well-developed—I felt like I truly got to know them. The male protagonist frustrated me more than a few times, especially with his lack of honesty in his new relationship. I kept waiting for him to come clean. Still, the story kept me invested all the way to the end.

For a debut this is really good. I was pulled right into the story. It has the best first chapter ever. The end of the first chapter literally made me gasp out loud. I didn't see it coming.

This is a story of love. Also a story of loss. It's the story of a family. Tom, Honor and their daughter Chloe. They are on vacation in Paris.

This “look” feels like a #covertrend to me.

ChaoticMissAdventures For sure! I am so glad we are moving to this and seem to be moving away from cartoon covers. These are so much prettier! 5mo
Karisa Yes! Need a break from all the too cool young women with sunglasses. 😅 5mo

This book was an ARC from a debut author that was fabulous! This romance grabbed me from page one and just kept getting better and better! There were twists and turns throughout the book, and times that I found myself saying oh nooo this can‘t be happening. I just kept on reading for the next twist. I will be looking forward to future books from this author because I thoroughly enjoyed her writing style and depth of character development.
