Glad to be back with Judy Bloom. The bullying was hard to read. My word. #ChildrensClassicRead2025 @TheBookHippie

TheBookHippie My students always love this book because it‘s so real. Which is so sad. But they‘re always so happy to not see shakily ever after. 2h

A reread of a childhood favorite with #childrensclassicread2025
The story of Jill and her classmates still stands the test of time as it addresses bullying. I always say it but it was Blume who made me reader and through her books I learned so much.

TheBookHippie I so agree. It‘s still such an important read! 6d

Utterly delightful. Sally's imagination reminded me of my own as a child. It's probably my favorite Judy Blume so far! 🤩

Read as a replacement for #childrensclassicread2025 because I read Blubber earlier this year. Thanks for the suggestion @thebookhippie and @cbee! Love, love, love this book!

TheBookHippie It‘s my fav!!! I‘m so glad you loved it! 2w

I‘ll probably never get reviews posted for August, I‘m still behind for July but I managed to read 20 books, which surprised me given my schedule & energy level for the month. Many were short books & I made 8 day trips in the month which gives me about 90 minutes per trip of reading + airport commute time.

Finished books for #SundayBuddyRead #SheSaid #NancyDrewBR #BobWhiteBuddies #EBBR #CampLitsy2025 #ChildrensClassicRead2025 #AuthorAMonth ⬇️

DebinHawaii #ThematicCozies #FictionalTraveler #Roll100 #SeriesLove2025 & some assorted #BOTM & Kindle Challenges 5 were audiobooks & 9 were library books (print & ebook). Favorites were Tilt, Listen For the Lie, King of Ashes, The Compound & Wedding People 2w

#CHILDRENSCLASSICREAD2025 September
I read this aloud to students k4-12.
In all different school setting types for - GASP - 30 plus years. The students say they love it because it‘s real life, nothing truly happens to bullies they generally move on to someone else or you get separated by having a different class or teacher. Or you just deal.
