#BookReport - Not a lot to check off this week as I finished two books not in my windowsill - the tagged book + An Old-Fashioned Girl - and then picked up (and completed!!) the hefty From Blood & Ash. I started reading Rose Daughter last night and am quite enjoying it so far. Only one week left to get these cleared off my windowsill... I'm sure that's a plausible goal, right? 😂 @Cinfhen

May had been a difficult month. I decided to give myself some TLC for June. I started a mental health journal, worked on a few self-care tips, wrote down notes on how to deal with anxiety and stress. So far, I have dealt with June #likeaboss 😎

Last 4 small paperbacks I own. When I'm done with these no more; unless it's extra special or hard to find. Print is just too small. I have to read in bright light & even then I squint. Jane Austen inspired ones & Iona I bought used for read up to our trip to UK. Just never got to them. Boots one? I love a good magical shoe story.

#Rocktober #IntheEnd I didn‘t bail on my bookclub read and I actually grew to appreciate this novel of vanity, satire and social climbing. Edith Wharton has a mighty wit and a sharp pen...perfect for flinging zingers🙌🏻 While Undine Spragg is a total vamp, I give her credit for pursuing her wants😉I did do some #pageskimming but #IntheEnd I‘m glad I did not #TakeTheBail

This is a pick if you like YA fantasy. If you don't, I wouldn't bother.
I thought there were some good ideas and potential storylines - I will probably read the others in the series as they are a quick light read, but I'm not rushing at the moment.
