My final late review of May, I read this one for my bimonthly virtual foodie bookclub. It was my pick & I chose it because I have a #OnceUponABookClub box for it but I ended up reading it on Kindle Unlimited & haven‘t opened the box yet. 🤦🏻♀️ Fun cozy set in France after WWII with Julia Child as the friend of the MC, Tabitha, a recent expat from Detroit living with her grandfather & his partner. I enjoyed it & ⬇️

Read for #Roll100 (#59) in May (I‘m catching up with reviews) & this was a fun take on The Bachelor. Not much of a Cinderella retelling as advertised other than the MC being named Cindy & having (not evil) stepsisters/stepmother, but it‘s a cute body-positive rom-com book. I had a #OnceUponABookClub box for it & got gifts to open which made it fun. This is part of a Meant To Be fairytale series by different authors.

The #OnceUponABookClub box for February that I received yesterday has this book about the Vietnam #War
I have avoided Kristin Hannah books & many war books because I have to be in the *right* mood for sad stories & that‘s been harder lately. But hey, the #OUABC box includes 4 mystery gifts to open while reading so I may have to dip in soon.😉
I gifted myself the Up All Night Box from #OnceUponABookClub because it‘s a fun way to celebrate New Year‘s Eve & I like the 40 book challenge which if you complete the poster (in the tube), they send you a free book. Although haven‘t opened it up yet, I got a sneak peek of the challenge on StoryGraph & coincidently, the tagged book that I received this weekend for completing the 2023 challenge, fits prompt #32: “A book with a playlist” 📚💚
Pretty happy with my November reading as I finished 17 books! 🎉📚🎉 They weren‘t necessarily the books in my November TBR as I made a mid-month decision to try to complete the #BOTM challenge & the #OnceUponABookClub 40 book challenge this year & switched out books. I am on track to finish both in December.
I finished my #SundayBuddyRead #JaneAdjacent & #ChildrensClassicsRead2023 #NancyDrewBR books & one for my virtual foodie book club too.⬇️

I have a #OnceUponABookClub YA box for this #Wicked title but have not gotten around to reading it yet. I had to order it based on the “Ethiopian-inspired debut fantasy retelling on Jane Eyre” blurb. Now that this prompt has put it front of mind, I may have to move it up closer to the top of the stack! 🤦🏻♀️
