so-soI love the idea of an advent romance novel heading into Christmas. This one was less than fantastic however. The story was good. I found the writing very stilted and awkward. And it didn't really make me feel anything, unfortunately. Theoretically, very very cute though. #66-2025

Just a warning if you want to listen to this book. It's narrator is very annoying, had to pan which is too bad cause I like Mary Burton
panA whimsical book about people with magical powers who can help you forget bad memories sounds good, however there was zero world building and the writing is simple and very confusing. I‘m not sure if it‘s because it‘s translated, but this completely missed the mark for me. Book #66 in 2025 ⭐️⭐️
pickA very impactful account about high school students in 2017 who were involved in an Instagram account created to post racist memes. Fast paced and very well written, Slater did an amazing job researching and writing. The creation of social media has severely shaped several generations and it‘s not getting better. My middle schooler will be reading this. Book #66 in 2024

#34: “Any Bridgerton” (Love the show, haven‘t read the books but ordered the #OnceUponABookClub boxes a few years ago so I put them on my list & I‘m starting with the first book.)🤷🏻♀️
#3: “Any BOTM” & as I can‘t seem to get this read without a nudge, it‘s going to be Just For the Summer.
#66: “Any Library Book” & my e-book hold came in for The Art Thief.
#Roll100 I think the universe is trying to tell me something with #66 showing up two months in a row. Think I will start it tomorrow.

Catching up on my June reviews, I finished a couple of weeks ago for #CampLitsy24 & really enjoyed it. It wasn‘t on my radar or a book I‘d have picked up on my own so I‘m glad it was a camp pick. Story, setting & the lovely writing & language came together in not that many pages. A quiet little book about love & relationships & it just kind of seeped its way into my soul. An enthusiastic pick for me & big thanks to our camp hosts.
