Exactly what I wanted for October..a witchy tale full of magic. A ragtag team of unlikely heroes is formed to take down the undead during WW1 in the heart of Russia. I didn‘t realize this was the beginning of a series and I don‘t normally go for fantasy, but I‘ll be looking for the next book for sure!!

After some heavy reads, it was fun to read a fantastical thriller for a change. It was a good book to bring on vacation with me. I tried to guess who died and who the killer was, and I was wrong on both accounts. #66 of #Roll100 @PuddleJumper

Unique storyline? ✔️ Surprises along the way? ✔️
I almost gave up on this one - the beginning was a bit slow - but I'm glad I stuck it out.

Cathythoughts I enjoyed this one too 👍🏻❤️ 9mo

I love an unreliable narrator; this book has two narrators and one has a skewed point of view. This was a good mystery with a morbid plot, very similar to Lisa Jewel‘s When She Was Gone. Book #66 in 2022

Book #66: Such a fun holiday read! I devoured this in one December weekend. Now I‘m inspired to read holiday romances all the way up until Christmas. I‘ve seen others say this as well - I wish there‘d been just a little more of the Groundhog‘s Day element to it. Like maybe repeat 2-3 more times. But I did think they did a good job of not making it feel super repetitive.
