If you like Christopher Nolan‘s movies you will love this book. The plot consists of a scientist/professor who is kidnapped and sent to an alternate universe and does everything he can to get back to his own universe. It‘s mind-bending and action-packed. Love the thriller, suspense, sci-fi, and mind-boggling vibes in it.

Pretty pissed that I waited 9 years to read this, but I can't help but believe this is the timeline I was meant to read it in. 🥲 What a ride. This book will be haunting me at least till the end of this year I think.

Pic from book club yesterday. Really enjoying this group. 🥹🩷📖

Forgot to post.. I fully intended on making progress on Dark Matter during my platelet donation on Saturday but one handed reading these BOTM hardcovers is no joke 😂 I ended up spending most of my appointment listening to the new album by The Belair Lip Bombs. It‘s excellent and unskippable IMO. Also I just noticed I‘m in the 3 gallon club now 🎉 #LitsyBloodDrive

TheBookHippie Thank you!!! Blood transfusions have saved my life. 3w
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I've never heard of this band before. I'll have to give them a listen. 3w
MatchlessMarie @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick A friend of mine turned me on to them. I think my favorite track is “Don‘t Let Them Tell You (It‘s Fair) but the whole album is solid. 3w
TieDyeDude Thanks for sharing. I liked the song I listened to. I have done audiobooks or movies during platelet donations before (the Red Cross in Philly had portable DVD players). Thanks for giving! 3w

thegirlwiththelibrarybag This was my first Jasper Fforde book - and it was for a high school literature class (I think it was the most recently published book by quite a lot on the syllabus). 2mo

77/100 What an amazing book!! I can't believe it took me so long to read this series, I'm kicking myself. Jasper Fforde never disappoints, his writing is so clever, so witty and just fun to read. It's a crazy idea, being able to enter works of fiction, but he makes it plausible and exciting. I've never read Jane Eyre, but I like the new ending better too 5 🌟 read. #Read2025 #SeriesLove2025

BkClubCare Well, if you need an amazing Jane Eyre experience, please try Thandie Newton‘s narration- SO GOOD! I was intimidated by JE and thought maybe audio would be a good way and I LOVED it! 🥰 3mo
RamsFan1963 @BkClubCare I'll keep that in mind if I decide to give Jane Eyre a try. Thank for the recommendation 3mo

RamsFan1963 @BookNAround I loved Shades of Grey and The Constant Rabbit, I don't know why I've waited so long to start this excellent series. So far, this has been one of my favorite books of 2025. 3mo

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this book!

Going into the book, I wasn‘t quite sure how I would like it. I love graphic novels but sci-fi is often a hit or a miss for me. This one was a hit!

I don‘t want to give away too much of the plot, since it‘s more fun if you go into it blind.
