Today‘s #bookwithaview and I‘m having trouble getting in to it. So many have told me this is their favorite Rowell. Please advise. 🤷🏼‍♀️

saresmoore I think Rowell is a very specific flavor of something that a lot of people like. Maybe pistachio gelato? Or bubble gum ice cream? Even if it is a flavor you can enjoy, you have to be in the mood. I‘ve devoured most of her books, but only because they were just right at a given moment. 6y

Fangirl: A Novel

saresmoore @emilyhaldi Fangirl was fun for me. It brought me right back to my first college dorm. But, like bubble gum ice cream, I kinda regretted my choice and wasn‘t reaching for more after I finished. Still a nice sugar high, though. 🙃 6y
