I would use this book in my classroom as a way to incorporate science into learning. In my classroom now, there isn't a lot of time for science and social studies. I love to read books to them so reading them nonfiction, informative books is a good way to incorporate multiple subjects into one time.

Hummingbird is a nonfiction that was published in 2019. The book is stated as almost a point of view of a hummingbird. Within the story encompassed around the story of the hummingbird, there are little hidden facts about hummingbirds that relate the story. It is a great story that follows the journey of different characters as well as a hummingbird.

Sace I confess I started my week in an irritable mood despite having Monday off. The skies were gray and I had been people-ing too much. I‘m feeling better now. My only plans today are grocery shopping, haircut, lunch and reading. 5d

Read4life We‘re still in the USVI taking care of my father in law. There was no change with him this week. We were able to get to the beach 4 days this week. This weekend we‘re going to spend time with my mother in law and her husband. In spite of the stressful reason we‘re here, we are getting some wonderful time with family. 5d

Librarybelle I found I wanted to read last night, which it‘s been a few days since I really could. There‘s been a lot on my mind, and Heather Cox Richardson‘s post this morning puts it into words so eloquently. She‘s an amazing political historian who bases everything she says on facts and history. But, this weekend is usual routines, with Sunday being a family get together. These checkins are so nice. You don't have to pay for it if you don't want to. She is also doing an audio version if you're interested in that. It comes out later in the day. Did you see the post she wrote the day after the election? And her posts generally take less than 10 minutes to read. 2w

I also heard her speak a few weeks ago at a virtual event, and I was struck by how articulate and knowledgeable she is. I have her books and really need to read them.
