Here‘s the story of my pick for #evilwoman. I grew up going to what I thought was a regular church. But, it was really a cult and I didn‘t figure that out until after I left in my 20s. This woman was a money-hungry narcissist who started the cult and built it like a church. Main precept? Only prayer and never medicine. So her followers end up slowly dying, while she took pain medicine herself. She was hypocritical and truly evil. #octoberxfiles

Bert Massey was shot and killed by a maid in his home in Canada in 1915. But was Carrie and #evilwoman or did she have good reason?
I‘ve yet to read this but it received quite a few awards, including top 100 books from The Globe the year it was published.
