Warheart | Terry Goodkind

My favourite author is Terry Goodkind. (Obviously 😂)
As I'm nearing the end of this journey, I need help from my fellow bibliophiles. Does anyone know of any authors/books/series that are similar to Goodkind's writing/philosophy/books?

AnnCrystal Are you asking for similar reads to this one??

Have you tried, The Chronicles of the Necromancer by Gail Z. Martin.

Book One:

Bklover Poor Aziz is falling apart! Fielding is definitely going out on a limb for him. 14mo
Bookwormjillk I wish Fielding could get in touch with Miss Quested! Very frustrating 😖 14mo

AnnR It's interesting how much of the focus in the book switches to Fielding. In a way, he's like the glue that holds the whole story together. 14mo
BarkingMadRead @AnnR I totally agree. And @Bookwormjillk I was thinking the same. If one hand knew what the other hand was doing, all of this could be resolved quickly! 14mo
dabbe @AnnR If it were a detective story, he'd be our Sherlock Holmes! #sherlocked 😃 14mo
mcctrish Everyone just talks in circles #wherestheguywithbluntheadtrauma 14mo
TheAromaofBooks I think it's interesting how everyone just seems resigned to the situation - all of the Indians don't seem to care if Aziz is innocent or guilty, it's just time to “rally the team“ - and the same with the English. It's so much more about us vs. them than it is about justice or whether or not Aziz did anything! 14mo
BarkingMadRead @TheAromaofBooks yes! Nobody seems to want to find the truth, they just want to do battle! 14mo

Fitting end to the series. I may have actually enjoyed this final story more than the four that preceded it. #39-2023

Onto the last book of the series. It's been an amazing adventure so far and I can't believe it's coming to an end but I know these characters will also be a comfort to me that I can't wait to share with my kids. #fairytale #retelling #siblings #twins #magic #grimm #fantasy #universe #goodvsevil #family

hannah-leeloo @curiouserandcurioser did you get my email? 2y

Last book in the Magisterium series. Last adventure for Call and his friends. Last year for them at magic school.

You think you know the story of Snow White? Think again. Grump, an unusual dwarf fascinated with the surface world is here to set the record straight.

This was an adorable and an interesting twist on a rather classic fairy tale. Grump is a snarky & curios POV that you can‘t help but sympathize with. Snow was spunky & clever. The narrator was perfect for the tone. I really enjoyed this, but felt the epilogue was entirely unnecessary. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

LaurelChandler Hi! Could you point me out who started #FairytaleReadingChallenge? I'd like to join the fun! 3y
BookmarkTavern @LaurelChandler Hi, of course! @Charityann is the one who started this particular challenge. This is the second year. There‘s a fairy tale for each month, and there‘s more info here: https://charityrau.wordpress.com/2021/12/28/fairytale-reading-challenge-2022/ 3y
LaurelChandler @ozma.of.oz Thank you! I live for retellings and this looks wonderful. Also, love your review! 3y

Two down today, not bad. Sorta how I feel about this volume: not bad, but not so good either. The art is nice but the narrative is lacking. Might be better for younger audience.

It‘s presently a FREE BORROW on Hoopla.

This series is just really good! We‘ve seen the Mimic take over a prince; now we see a democratic election process poisoned by the Mimic and his minions.

Somebody felt neglected when he was home alone all yesterday. We had a kind of rough night because of it, and now today he wants LOVE! #catsofLitsy #putdownthebookandpetmehooman

Still going strong. I am so glad I had the second book to dive right in. I found the next two at my other library and can pick them up tomorrow because now I HAVE TO KNOW! Jessa has such a strong, short but sweet storyline! But Oona is amazing at the heart of the whole story. I can‘t wait to find out what happens next.
