I don‘t know where to begin. I‘ll start with, I‘m enjoying it, it‘s an interesting and comforting perspective. It makes me feel MULTIPLE different emotions, experience MANY different thoughts and now I have LOTS of new questions. I‘ve always been afraid of this topic and reading this was my way of trying to get over that fear… this is helping, but I will admit it‘s hard to read after dark 😆. I feel this would be a fun discussion with others 👻📚

I like CBR (and her Oracle Circle is great, if you're into that stuff). This is a book of two halves. The first is a "teaching memoir" detailing her recovery from alcohol and drug addiction, and her initially reluctant acceptance of her "woo-woo" gifts.
Part 2 offers 7 keys to reflect upon (truth, reverence, humility, courage, forgiveness, stillness, love), with a handful of practical exercises, for strengthening one's innate intuitive abilities.

Listened to this on audio. Thought it was pretty interesting overall. Thought it would be more of a thing about how to make decisions faster but really it explained why/how we‘re able to make split second decisions/judgments with seemingly limited info. Still learned a lot and was definitely intriguing

I've been MIA this week and haven't gotten my October #Roll100 books announced.

I think the universe wants me to read “Blink“ and I'm also very interested in the Crazy Horse book.

I've got a lot checked out and don't know how much I'll get read in October.

I really, really enjoyed reading this book. It‘s almost like you‘re thinking, analyzing and evaluating every moment while reading. I have always liked Malcolm Gladwell‘s philosophy . He has good set of examples to build his points. This read is an insight to how important it is to trust your instincts and to know when to trust your instincts.

Has this ever happened to you? Your significant other orders a book and you have to immediately cancel the order because said book is already part of your collection? Oh, yeah, and you also know EXACTLY where the book is located within your vast color coded filing system and you walk right to it! Note to spouse: never order a book without checking my collection first! 🤣

KathyWheeler I, myself, have bought books that I already own! 😄. It doesn‘t happen so often now since I got LibraryThing and cataloged all my books. (edited) 2y
