The story is both engaging and educational, teaching children about measurement and problem solving through the inchworms cleverness.
pickThis story introduces readers to a clever little inchworm who measures things with his body to avoid being eaten by a hungry bird. It has beautiful illustrations and is a must read in the classroom for me.
This book sort of reminded me of the Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.
pickThis would be a good book for younger grades. There are not many words on each page and the words are easy to understand, other than a few. The illustrations fill up most of the page.
