In Venice with my favorite author...
Just bought this for my research, but I don‘t think it‘s necessary for a mature woman to test whether her man is strong, stable, responsible, productive, and kind enough to be with her. Nobody should change who they are to win somebody‘s affection. We are not machines to be modified, but humans who want to be loved. Period.
Please DO NOT annoy the writer or she may put you in a book and KILL you. So true...I have already killed two🎃😜🎃
On my bucket list: “The Eye of Binhai”. This stunning new library in China holds up something like 1.2 million books and it looks endlessly creative. I want one like that in my town in Florida.
It‘s so cool to walk in the library and see your own book standing on the bestsellers rack. It makes my hard work all worth it.
Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt never disappoints me. The way he describes love—so passionate, treasured, obsessive, secretive, withheld, or unrecognized—it truly amazes me. One of my favorite stories was about the wife who killed her husband after suspicions of infidelity, only to find out...not spoiling it😛
When you look like a giant red lobster 🦞 after you finish your book, you know it was a great read. I burned so bad, but no regrets. ”When I was a piece of art” was undoubtedly one of the most memorable books in my life time. Sadly Mr. Schmitt doesn‘t like his novels to be translated in English, because he thinks we, the Americans, are big prudes. And he may be right.
There‘s an old saying: Even a dead cat will bounce if it‘s dropped from high enough. Well, it didn‘t bounce for me. The plot was too predictable and the characters not believable. For someone who knows a whole lot about Russia and lived through the atrocities of communism, this book didn‘t touch me at all. Americans should stick to writing about American culture and leave it to Russians to enlighten us what life in Russia was like.
Best children‘s book for a dollar. My son wants me to read it to him every night🙈
My fitness goals this month:
1. The devil‘s chessboard (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫)
2. A gentleman in Moscow (👎)
3. Les Perroquets de la place d'Arezzo (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
Just finished...
My work out consists of reading books😝
My art today for my new book “Queen of Pawns”♟🖤♟
“True friends are never apart. Maybe in distance but never in heart.” So true!!!! A great one🤗
My little spy made his recommendation on what to read tonight😉
“...John Foster Dulles liked to think himself as chess master of the free world. His younger brother would become something more powerful still—the knight-errant who enforced America‘s imperial will. As director of the CIA, Allen Dulles liked to think he was the hand of the king, but if so, he was the left hand-the sinister hand.He was master of the dark deeds that empires require.” #spies #history #America
I don‘t even want to know what Google Search has on me😂😂😂
Friend: How long does it take you to fall in love?
❤️
Me: Oh a couple of chapters usually😘
The cover of my next novel in the series of King of Pawns. YES or NO?
I am the creator of my own light! #readers
Behind the making of my novels. Countless hours...days...months...years....of writing and taking chess photos. I poured my soul into the series of King of Pawns. #spies #chess #dark #spynovel #psychological #newauthor #newadult #series #romance #historical #politicalfiction #noir #mafia
So true. Less and less people read today and all the books are destined to calcify into croutons😭But thanks to Litsy, I feel more hopeful. Have a great Sunday Littens! #litsy #readmore
The perfect Saturday night read if you live in Italy 🥂
In Italy, working on my 3rd novel about the Italian mafia and stumbled across a great winery that just labeled me 60 bottles of Valpolicella red. Since I don‘t have any friends to drink it with, I decided to gift it to readers who enjoy reading spy/historical fiction. For the chance to get a free bottle, please send me the last sentence of my novel to demibomauthor@gmail.com (can be downloaded for free with kindle unlimited or for just $0.99)
Another wonderful historic work from Erik Larson. Pre-war Germany, specifically Berlin, is the setting. Larson can tell a story with a gift rare amongst none fiction novelists. Excellent work.
I love old classics...
My day is just a series of obstacles I must overcome before I sit down to read my book.
Just popped the cork out and I‘m ready to read...#currentlyreading #wineandbooks
Amazon gave my new book a birthday gift—a spot in the Hot New Releases List. To celebrate, I would like to gift my book to 10 people. If you enjoy reading spy-fiction, historical fiction-dark romance, based on true events, please email me: demibomauthor@gmail.com

The man whom I envisioned when I wrote:
“This is Alexander Orlovsky,” the screen on the wall flickered to life and a picture of a man‘s face emerged on the screen—young, ruthless, expressionless, and striking...
Just started it...I love reading about the Indian tribes and the intimate bonds that are formed in closed-knit societies. The modern equivalent of going to war.
One hell of a gripping read about what makes the modern sniper so lethally effective in combat.
I love this book and so does my toddler😂
