“You get to decide how you show up in this world. No one else gets to dictate to you who you are.”
Another fun fluff read. I liked the characters and the touch of humor in a few scenes that made the book so much fun. I also liked the bit of drama and thought it worked well in this one. I ploughed through this book quickly and will definitely read the next book in this series. 4 ⭐

I liked this book. It could have been shorter though. I loved the characters in the book. I rated this book a 3 out of 5 stars.
@5feet.of.fury posted about her least favorite books of the year, which I thought was a fun exercise! Here are my Bottom 5. Top 5 Flipped?
It‘s a real shame; the bottom right has one of *the* best covers! 🐚
Sipping from my Christmas teacup tonight and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Eve! Sipping Christmas Eve while watching Red One is a perfect way to settle in for the night.
Two more days before our official winter break and I cannot wait! Two whole weeks of reading sipping tea and napping. My partner in crime at work gave me the most precious gift…and it doesn‘t help that she‘s a fellow reader and buys just as many books as I do! Another amazing ornament added to my collection.
My first Lucy Score read and the first page has reeled me in! I can‘t imagine walking into a store and see a sign with my name on it that says…Do not serve. I‘m only two chapters in and getting ready to settle into a cozy tea filled Saturday along with a cookie or two!
Up next…I‘ve been wanting to read this series for a while now! It‘s my September #bookspin and my October #doublespin pick.

Here we go…my September #bookspin and #doublespin picks!
Thank you so much for hosting, @TheAromaofBooks
Looking forward to an excellent reading month!
I loved this series! If you love enemies to lovers, grumpy sunshine, small town romance, slow burn!! The writing style was great she keep you engaged in the characters along with the storyline there are a few characters but it doesn‘t get confusing at all! Highly recommend! Let me know if you have read this series and your thoughts on it!
Late update 1 of 2. GOD I love how well this book introduces Knockemout. Perfect tension between Knox and Naomi, and all the side plots with their friends and relatives are gold. #reread #romcom #contemporaryromance
Predictable, but delicious. New girl in town wins everyone over. Steamy, spicy, and satisfying.
I wasn‘t sure what to expect when I walked into Cafe Rev, but it sure as hell wasn‘t a picture of myself behind the register under the cheery headline “Do Not Serve.”

I enjoyed it, but I don‘t think I‘ll ever listen or read it again, even if the male narrator sounded 🥵
Overall, it felt very insta-love and an odd take of the surprise pregnancy trope. Plus there was a small discussion in the epilogue that just grossed me out and made me cringe, in fact the whole epilogue was a bit cringe. The bonus was cute though.
Absolutely too long. Absolutely too much growling, calling a woman “baby”, & punching people‘s lights out for me (what did I expect with a setting of a tiny town called Knockemout?). For all the talk about Tina, I found her character to be underdeveloped & nearly one-dimensional. Still, I love reading romance novels & I can‘t stay *too* mad. 🤷♀️ Even if it wasn‘t my favorite writing, it was still a mostly pleasant way to spend a couple of days.
“I didn‘t like doing things until I knew the exact right way to do them.”
Um. This Capricorn feels personally attacked by the statement above. 🙈
Taking a break from my #AuldLangSpine reading for a little bit of romance.
You know when you‘ve had a book on your shelf for a while and you forget it‘s there and when you finally pick up the book, you enjoy it so much that you need to read more of the authors work this is what happened to me with this book and now I have to read her other books 🥰 loved it
Well, the last book I started isn't holding my attention so ON TO THE NEXT!
Hoping this one sticks 🤞🤞
definitely recommend. 110% grumpy - sunshine trope ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I get the hype! This was sweet, suspenseful, spicy, and funny. Just heartwarming and filled with characters you can‘t help but love! #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
I freaking loved this series!! The 3rd was my actual favorite but all were so good!!! I loved how all the characters intertwined within all 3 books!!!😍😍😍
I loved characters, even secondary ones. I loved how alive everyone felt and atmosphere was super cozy. I loved the setting: small town with colorful people living there.
This book made me laugh aloud several times and I enjoyed reading. I loved that there was so much more happening than romance. That made me intrigued to read more because I wanted to see how problems would be solved.

Took advantage of the Target Circle Week sale and treated myself to a mini book haul!
Because I also bought some skincare products, it worked out that I got House of Sky and Breath for FREE! 🙃💁♀️🎯
👏hoorayyy!👏
Wow! Just wow in my turn from YA to NA I have found some amazing stories and this one is at the top of the list! I think my conversation has completed 😂 it only took me 13 years to go full on NA at 41!
This one had me staying up past 1am to read and finish. I‘ve been reading a few chapters every chance I got. And man was it worth it!
“There‘s a difference between taking care of someone because you love them and taking care of someone because you want them to love you.”
This book really said "More is more" and I am OBSESSED. Family baggage! A quirky small town! Starting over! Kidnapping and a crime ring!! I cannot get my hands on the next two books soon enough. #contemporaryromance
DNF 50%. The maturity of the characters sank it for me. The MMC giving Midol, heat pads, and brownies to his employees (who like that he does this) because they‘ve synced cycles was the final straw for me.
I reallyyyy wanted to love this one, I have heard such good things, but for some reason I just didn‘t love it. There were some really slow parts in this book, but also some fast ones as well. Some unenjoyable characters, and some likable ones. Overall, the ending saved this book for me. 3/5 ⭐️
I would highly recommend reading my book. It switches back and forth between a women and mans perspective. They are neighbors who are falling in love.
Meh, kinda disappointing. A decent story, albeit WAY longer than it needed to be. Entertaining, but also not memorable enough to motivate me to continue with the series. Not one of the #booktok goodies, that's for sure (in my humble opinion of course). ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am not a romcom reader, but this book was on sale thought I would give it a try. Naomi is the main character who is the good part of her bad twin, she lands in a small town with of coarse unbelievably handsome men this book was way too long I didn‘t love it but I did finish it but will not waste my time on any others book 4 of #marchmadnessreadathon
No. Just no.
I got just over half way before I couldn‘t go anymore.
The first two chapters were hard for me.
But once you start it, the story line is so solid! The ending 😍😍😍!!
This was a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me!
A friend said I had to read this and given all the reviews on Amazon figured I would. It was really good!
I'll admit it - I'm a total sucker for the grumpy sunshine romance trope... Knox was a bit too much of an ass at the beginning, but he grew on me.
Nice, dramatic, steamy romance story. It started chaotic and continued in a cozy small town with people who look out for each other. Characters were very likeable, beside the villains in the story, including Tina who is displayed drastically as the bad sister.
Wished for more lines dedicated to Knox' issues and his growth.
The last chapters and getting back together felt a bit too rushed for me. Still an entertaining read with lot's of tension.

Done in less than 24 hours despite the length. Exhilarating and such a good read
October 2, 2022 A MUST READ. I like how Lucy Score goes into depth about each character (Naomi, Tina, Waylay, Knox Morgan, Nash Morgan, Lucian, Tina, Lina, etc) and how the story flows from each chapter. Reading her books are very pleasant because she takes the reader to many different places and has them imagining things as they read each word 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
October 2, 2022 Introducing the Fall/Autumn TBR stack (minus the book by Lucy Score). OMG i cant believe it is October. 2022 has flown by and I hardly did anything... JK I was productive this year but not really in reading.
October 1, 2022 When the highlighter comes out to play, you know the book is hitting the climax. I rarely use a highlighter. BUT when i do, it allows me to remember certain parts of a book... Currently on page 402 out of 483. What will happen at the end? Last post of the book will reveal the rating.
September 28, 2022 On page 307 out of 483... Lucy Score has made it pretty clear that she writes with humor. Right now I am on the part where Naomi and Knox have no clue what they're doing (even though they have had sex TWICE), a one night stand and then something else that was considered sex???! Naomi is confused and Knox is not making things any clearer. Despite the confusion, Naomi still has feelings for him when he is around
