I am totally loving this series. Can‘t wait to read the next 2 books!!! Waiting for them to come in the mail!
Good Goddess I‘m in love with this series! 😍
Haven‘t posted in awhile. Commuting has been kicking my butt waking up at 5 every morning. And lemme tell you, I am not a morning person... 😅😂 Anyway, this book was alright. I really enjoy the concept and it‘s nice to read a book that focuses more on sisterly bonds than romantic relationships. One grip is that the poisoner power is so outclassed by everyone it‘s not even funny.
I am slowly starting to get into this series. I can not stand Katharine at all. But I am enjoying it otherwise. Side not I hate when stickers are put on the front cover of books. I can't get the stickiness off the book and it drives me crazy.
Listened to this one on hoopla and it was great! Second in the series so the only drawback was it had been so long since I read the first, I had to go find a plot summary. The world building is really complicated and interesting and all three sisters are sympathetic in their own way. I'm definitely starting to root for all our main characters to unite and completely overthrow the island's current ruling system! #audiobooks
Exceptionally late review, and probably an #unpopular opinion, but I bought this to continue the series and although I was still impressed, it felt a little rushed, disjointed and just not quite there for me. Perhaps it's the ending, perhaps it's something else. But for me it's 3.5 ⭐. #recentlyread #nospoilers #YAfiction #YAFantasy 👸
READER PROBLEMS: When your coffee decides to enter into battle and with your book.
The library had my holds ready for me this afternoon and I had placed them last night at 11, so I was very excited! I went straight after work to pick them up. I can‘t wait to start on this one! I LOVE the library!!!

I loved the first one, and this sequel didn‘t disappoint! With the emergence of Katharine as completely changed character, the battle for becoming queen shifts in this sequel. While there is a lot of action in this book, it‘s still not over yet! I don‘t want to give anything away, so I‘m just going to say I can‘t wait to read the next one!
Deciding to join in on the #24B4Monday because I loved it last month. Though I don't expect to read that much, since tomorrow is my birthday and will probably be busy, but I really want to finish the tagged book + I have a few chapters left of HP & Prisoner of the Azkaban. So I'm setting those two as my goals.
1. I shy away from books that are popular with the masses except HP. I like to be different and difficult. 😁
3. Pearly Mae and Whitney Lawrence II. Jeanette and Eugene. My brother is Whitney Lawrence IV. Men had the name long before it became a popular girl‘s‘ name.
5. I‘m not sure. New York, Milan, Paris???? All!
You know you found a series worth reading when it puts you through a roller coaster of emotions. You are mad, happy and sad right along with the characters. I am having trouble wanting any of the queens to die. Granted Katherine was a royal b**ch (heheh royal) I feel like she is a victim of environment. At least she could have a little redemption moment before she dies. But Joseph..ugh whyyyy. I think Jules will just end up ruling everything BOOM.
Well...this was super intense and everything I wanted. I need to get my hands on the next book because holy cow! Highly recommend!!! 5/5 stars
So, I finally got the book "Two Dark Reigns" from the library (ebook hold was forever) but when I started it, I realized I'd forgotten a lot. So, luckily book 2 was available immediately. Doing a quick run through ?
#bookandwinepairing ? ? 2016 Saveurs du Temps Cabernet Sauvignon. So good!
An excellent continuation of this twisted royalty tale. Again, I find my favorite thing is the simple use of chapter titles to world build. Every place heading a chapter is a place I want to visit. Each of the characters experienced growth, breadth and depth. I have my suspicions where this story will end, but I find I am perfectly happy with these three queens of Fennbirn!
Queens (& sisters) Katherine, Mirabella & Arsinoe face each other in the battle to become ruler of Fennbirn. Except they don‘t because the majority of the book is about the love lives again.
I really wanted to like this series, even after the lacklustre first book, but something is missing for me. It was a chore to read & a premise this good shouldn‘t be a chore. Rating: 2⭐️
#bitmojimonday I woke at 4 for PT after spending this weekend working on a cross stitch I still havent finished in 3 years of working on it. Crammed for an exam tomorrow, didnt do so well in the kahoots game, but I got this. In my studying, i didn't do much cleaning, so it's starting to look like hot garbage in my car... I'll fix it.. tomorrow >_>
