I loved the book. This was a great start to what I'm sure will be an amazing series. Zaina is such a strong main character with a fiery personality. I really enjoyed the enemies to lovers trope in this book. The opposing cultures and attitudes really played well off each other until they were able to meet in the middle. I love the darkness in this book and the twists and turns. This was a very unique retelling and I cannot wait for book 2.

I have not been posting regularly lately, but I have still been reading some! I‘ve been working on some health/fitness stuff and have had a lot of other things happen in the past week. We went to Disney World to visit my sister, who is in the college program there, and now it‘s closing for a couple weeks. Also, our sweet old cat died and we‘ve been mourning. Then today we found out our schools are closing for two weeks.

I‘m at a Comic con today. My sister wanted to attend the panel for the original Belle and Gaston. A young girl asked the actress what her fave Belle scene is, & she said when belle realizes she‘s in ❤️w/ Beast in the snow. Then, she asked the girl what her fave scene is, & the girl said when Belle goes into the library. Kindred spirit, maybe a future Litten. 💜

Beauty and the Beast is one of the classic fairytale stories by Disney. It is a TL story that shares how a prince gets cursed into a beast while a girl ends up stuck in his castle. This story leads into an unlikely relationship and happy endings. I think this would be a great option for a DR. Especially since this book is also a movie and a musical. #ucflae3414f19

LOVE THIS STORY! One of my favorite stories of all times. Such a great book about creatures and humans coinciding with one another. It is a beautiful story about a prince who becomes a beast and is very mean, meets a woman, falls in love with her and becomes a man again before the last rose petal drops because he learns to be kind again.

This is a great book to use in the classroom (for all ages) when introducing fairytale stories. It does a great job with mythical creatures and mixing humans and talking animals and objects. It is age-appropriate, and it is about a beast who is very mean, meets a young girl and falls in love with her and becomes a nice human. I love this story. It is one of my all-time favorites.
