What's your favorite genre? 📚❤️ My fave is *gasp* contemporary! I've been gnawing on a ton of it lately, mostly cause YA authors are publishing diverse contemporary more than any other genre and I can't get enough of these marginalized voices 😚 I really suggest you pick up one of those recs above☝🏼

Sunset books 📚🌤 Do you like sunrises or sunsets? I prefer sunsets, and not just because I never wake up before sunrise, but the colors of sunsets are usually just much vibrant than sunrises ❤️

charissharpe I have been up in a hot air balloon at sunrise and it is absolutely magical... sunsets are more vivid though ✨ 7y
plentifulpages I prefer sunsets! I personally think it's because I'm never awake to see them, but from the few times I have been I think I'd love them just as much as sunsets if I saw them as often! 7y

FANTASY NOVELS 📚💭 Truth is, I've been reading a quarter of the fantasy that I used to, mostly cause I've been trying to read more diversely, and unfortunately, majority of YA fantasy has yet to incorporate diversity into their novels 🤷🏽‍♀️ However, A Crown of Wishes was ~perhaps~ the best diverse fantasy I've read in 2017 ✨

What are you fave fantasy novels? 📖

plentifulpages I really love Sarah J. Maas' books! They're the ones that got me into fantasy! Leigh Bardugo writes really good fantasy books too! 7y

TRAVEL MORE 🌍 If I could go anywhere (fictional or not) I'd go to Hogwarts, and then I'd sightsee both London and Edinburgh, and maybe stop by Italy 😚 (one can dream, right?) But I adore the Passenger duology, I'm a sucker for time travel (Doctor Who is my favorite show duh!! 💙)

I actually reorganized my bookshelf a few weeks ago, but the photo I took wasn't the best quality so here is an older photo 📚 In reality, my bookshelves are still under the color spectrum (what can I say? Rainbow is always the best choice 🌈) but how do you organize your shelves? 📖📖

AN EQUALLY LATE JUNE HAUL: in the month of June, I splurged quite a bit and purchased 9 books for pride month, all featuring either LGBTQ+ protagonists/supporting characters 🏳️‍🌈 In addition I received a few books for promotion as well making June a collector's month for me 💘

JUNE WRAP UP: I know this is hella late but in June I read 8 books total, 7 of which were queer/LGBTQ+ novels in honor of my first month as a part of pride 📚🏳️‍🌈 My personal faves were Ramona Blue & Not Your Sidekick

What are your favorite LGBTQ+ novels? 📖 I looove Tash Hearts Tolstoy, but I'm partial cause I'm ace 😚

rachelsbrittain I love Adam Silvera's novels, and I also recently read We Are Okay by Nina LaCour which was so lovely! I've been wanting to read Tash Hearts Tolstoy, though, so I'm glad to hear it's a good one 😊 7y

You can't just NOT expect me to post about the 4th of July without a single Hamilton reference ?While I haven't ~exactly~ been the most patriotic since a *cough* certain election, I was recently introduced to Hamilton this time a year ago so that makes me feel a little bit better ??‍♀️?

Hey, lovelies 💛 I recently received this stunning bookmark and it's perfect in the hands of a proud Hufflepuff like myself ☺️ Which HP book/movie is your favorite? I loooove Goblet of Fire, it's iconic (it helps that one of the main characters is hufflepuff for once 😂💫)

JenlovesJT47 Fave book is Prisoner of Azkaban. I love Sirius! Hard to say about the movies. I think the best adaptation was Chamber of Secrets. After that, they left out or changed too many important things. 🙃 7y
vivalabooklife i love POA, OOTP, and DH books, my fav movies are HBP & DH2! 7y

Hey loves! What's your fave LGBTQIA+ novel? For me it's Tash Hearts Tolstoy 💘

My official pride rainbow 🎉 I hauled quite a few of queer/LGBTQ+ books to celebrate my first pride month as aro ace 👌🏽 (I'll be listening more info about the books below) However, supporting the queer community is more than just posting pretty rainbows so always remember to buy/read/support your fave queer authors, and most of all, happy pride 🏳️‍🌈

booknerd_reads The only non-#ownvoices books above are A Gathering of Shadows, Tash Hearts Tolstoy, Simon vs THSA, and Shadowshaper - and AGoS + Shadowshaper feature supporting queer characters instead of main characters, I just wanted the full rainbow effect ☺️ 7y

Happy 20th anniversary to the stories that started it all ✨ (my book obsession, that is) even if I was a little late it's still a classic to bookworms everywhere ☺️💕 How many times you've read HP? For me it's just once 📖 #harrypotter20

brittanyciara Just once for me, too. But I'll be re-reading the series to share it with my little brother for the first time. Excited for that! 😁 7y

2. Why I joined Litsy: well honestly I just wanted to jump on the bandwagon, and there's many differences between IG and Litsy so I'm embracing both platforms 💖

Hiii lovelies ☺️🌸 What's a book that made you feel represented / a book you found relatable? 📖 GUYSSS Tash Hearts Tolstoy arrived and omg omg this book is FANTASTIC it was my first book with an asexual MC (and I'm ace so) 🏳️‍🌈 I also featured some ~INCREDIBLE~ diverse books that everyone should read 📚✨

eattrainread Fangirl helped me through my anxiety about starting university! That book meant, and still means, everything to me for helping me in such a way! The main character was so relatable and I recognized myself in her (edited) 7y
flyingbookbeak The Upside of Unrequited! I know of almost no books that don't treat fat MC as a project and their goal throughout the book is to lose weight. TUOU was not that thankfully. 7y
pillbugdreams One book I found that I could relate to was Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda! A lot of the stuff Simon went through was stuff I've also experienced, and his family is quite similar to mine in the way we all act. Lovely picture, by the way! 7y

bananasbooks You're ace?! I'M ace!! Now I gotta read that book lol. A book that made me feel represented was Every Last Word! The MC has OCD, and not a lot of books deal with OCD, so it was nice to read something similar to my own life. 7y
