I'm late to the game regarding this show and I binge watched 13 series since mid January and now can't wait for season 14 to start here in the UK. I know I'll be crying when it ends. This arrived today and love it. Jammed packed with pictures and extra inserts that make it fun.

Redwritinghood Great show! 👍🏻👍🏻 6y

I read this only twice since it was released.... Only twice. This is the only book that really, really scared me, more so the second time when my kids were little. While part of me wants to see the movie, a bigger part of me is chicken to. I'll give this another read first and then make up my mind about the movie.

So far this is the page I have been using the most in this book. It was hard to write in and destroy pages but in a way it's fun and freeing. Yeah it's odd but fun.

I have been a big fan of Mark's books since day one. While I have an advanced e-copy of this book I asked very nicely for an advanced paperback copy as well. I just got this in the mail and am so happy to have it to add to my collection of his other books. It won't be everyone's cup of tea but I enjoyed it and look forward the the next 4 books in the series.

I love the stories in this book. If you like shorter reads this is the perfect book for the season.

Killing Commendatore | Haruki Murakami
Mehso-so

While it kept me reading the storyline wasn't fast moving. The ending made little sense in the overall scheme of the story. The opening part of the story was something that you thought would be resolved and the in with the ending but sadly it didn't. Not as good as I had hoped.

Killing Commendatore | Haruki Murakami

This book is oddly dull. More than halfway in and nothing is really going on. It's one of those books I would normally have put aside by now and move onto something new. But....But for an unknown reason I just can't put it down. I'm drawn in by Murakami's style of writing that is engaging and keeps me reading. How odd is that?

ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled I felt the exact same way when I recently read The Wind Up Bird Chronicle. Still not sure Murakami is my thing, though. 6y
BooknerdsLife I'm only half way through and feeling the same.. it's just super slow...Hope it gets better in the second half.. 6y

Weren't Melania Trumps parents granted American citizenship through chain migration?

Redjewel_7734 Yes, but they‘re white, so for Trump & his ilk that makes it ok 😡 6y
Sweettartlaura Basically, MOST people‘s families come this way. If you heard your grandparents or great-grandparents talk about how the husband came here & worked, & saved up enough money to bring over his wife & kids, or that he went back to get married & then bring his wife... that, too, is “chain migration.” 6y

I've read many of Bob Woodward's books. He is a political journalist I trust and like.

Samplergal Small doses, but well researched and written. I‘m about 1/2 way through. 6y

I'm going against most of the reviews on this and give it a thumbs up. The characters were a bit flat at times but the premise was what made the book interesting for me.

I've never read anything by James Patterson but was intrigued by Bill Clinton on the cover. I have heard mixed reviews on this one, but now and then I love a good political thriller so I figured I'd give it a try. So far so good.

I hate the new trend of adding things to the end of book titles. The " Most talked about book of 2018" or " A turn paging thriller you won't be able to put down!". Or even the one for Our House. Nothing turns me off of a book or unfairly judge it before even reading it than those awful blurbs. Am I the only one who is put off by this?

TrishB I get put off, but I did buy for 99p as I generally am a sucker for the 99p offers!!! 6y
Crash I have to admit that for .99p I'll try it. It is hard to knock it for the price. 6y

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this is a must read if you are interested how fascism took roots during modern times and how history repeats itself. It's a stark and scary warning about what is happening now in the world as well as the US.
