WOW! This book was incredible!
The King Family could best be described as the Kennedy's of Kentucky. Politics, scandal, and lies combine to create one of the best mysteries I've read in a long time. The twists and turns in this book will keep you guessing! I could NOT but this book down! Run don‘t walk to this one when it‘s published on 2/1/22!

1. I‘m a high school librarian so I read tons of YA.
2. The Blood and Ash series by Jennifer L. Armentrout is great. I personally enjoy the audiobooks.
3. A book is YA when it is has at least one teenage protagonist and is mostly told from a teenage perspective.

A spy story about two sisters caught up with the IRA set in Northern Ireland. Such a great premise but the action portion of the book just fell a bit flat for me. It was a good book but I feel it could‘ve been so much better.

This one was just okay for me. The Hate U Give is one of my all time favorite books. I think it should be required reading for everyone. I just knew I would love Concrete Rose just as much. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark.

I got this as a BOTM back in June and just got around to reading it. This was creepy in the best type of way. I really enjoyed this as it kept me guessing. I loved the many twists and turns!

This book was WILD in the best type of way. I was left guessing and shocked so many times throughout the book that I lost count. This was a super easy read that I finished in one day. I loved it.

Another amazing read from Kristin Hannah! This is my second from the author who‘s quickly becoming a favorite.

Y‘all! Please tell me that all of Kristin Hannah‘s books are this good! This was a first by the author for me and I consumed every single word as quickly as I could. What an amazing story and beautiful setting! I‘m off to start on my next Hannah book.

I liked this one so much more than Six of Crows. I‘m still on the fence about reading more from Bardugo but this book definitely left me more excited than the first.

I finally got around to reading this one. I liked it but I don‘t quite get the hype. I‘m glad I waited to read it so I could go right into Crooked Kingdom. I enjoyed it so much more.

I LOVED this book. I have loved the entire series. I will continue to love all things Maas... but this cover! 😭 WHY? Why would they change this one to be so vastly different than the rest?

Reading/Discussing books with my 9 year old daughter gives me such joy. We LOVED this one and can‘t wait to start the next. Highly recommend it for your littles!

I continued my dive into guilty pleasure reading with book 2 of The Bridgertons series. I really hope the series follows the books in future seasons. I‘m loving every minute.

I had to read this after binge watching the Netflix series. I throughly enjoyed this book! I can‘t wait to finish the entire series.

I found the story of how the Queen of Hearts became the ruthless person we see in Alice in Wonderland interesting but this was definitely not a favorite. I found it just didn‘t capture my attention the way Meyer‘s Lunar Chronicles did. Maybe this is because I‘ve never been a big fan of Alice in Wonderland.

People love this book. I get it and I understand. However, I‘m not one of those people. I wanted to know more of Glory‘s story and more about what experiences created the Strickland we grew to loathe. I loved many of the other characters but found the character chapter organization very hard to keep my interest.

What an amazing book! This was a first from Moyes for me and I will definitely be back for more. I am a high school librarian and had never heard of the WPA packhorse librarians. I was intrigued by the story and loved the characters. I finished this in a day I was so enthralled.

Wow! As a high school librarian I spend most of my time reading YA but this one truly sparked an interest. I devoured this is one day. I found this thought provoking and definitely left me reflecting on my own life. Highly recommend this selection even if it‘s outside of your favorite genres.

Today is my 14th wedding anniversary and my sweet husband knows me so well. His coworkers asked if he‘d ordered flowers to which he replied that he knew I would rather have books. 😍😍 I‘ve got 14 new books headed my way! #myprincegetsme
