Awesome adventure today 📖😋
After a fun filled bookish week with my bestie visiting from NYC I'm back. Was a great week of traveling, book stores, museums and good food. I'll miss her but she'll be back next year. Naturally we went to The Last Book Store and I bought way too many books during her visit.
As author and former bookseller and DPI alum, I spend a lot of time thinking about the future of books and publishing. If you care about those things, this is an important (and succinct) thread to read: https://twitter.com/ravenbookstore/status/1118596015957975041?s=21
Goodbye to the only 2nd & Charles in Illinois. Had a lot of memories here and a lot of good buys. Also had to witness this building close when it was a Borders. RIP.
Scared to find out what this title means!😱
I was in Los Angeles for a conference this week and was able to sneak in a trip to The Last Bookstore. It's soooooo cool!
Fab bookshop in LA: whistlestop tour but I hope to be back one day!

🖤 Used books. I love the way an almost worn out book feels to flip through and read. I love loved books so much.
🖤 A bookstore. I have a bad habit of falling in love w books and reading them over and over and forgetting to return them. 😅
🖤 A couch potato. Unfortunately.
🖤 Watch a play. I‘m a Broadway fanatic. My favorite musicals are Hamilton and Wicked.
🖤 Road trip! I love going to new places!
Who has been to The Last Bookstore in LA? Amazing! Im also a photographer, so the artwork I could create was phenomenal! Do you have a favorite bookstore? What makes it your favorite
@Wbabdullah just posted a picture of The Last Bookstore in LA... so I thought I'd share a photo I have on my phone from the exact same spot.
I‘ve never been to The Last Bookstore in LA but will now have to put it on my bucket list...Wow! Now this is how decorating with books should look! ❤️👌🏽👍🏽😍 I‘m learning a lot from IG today.
Spending my last day in LA at the Last Bookstore!!
Upstairs at the Last Bookstore is the Labyrinth of Books. Labyrinthine shelves of sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, thrillers, and horror lead up to the book tunnel, and more shelves beyond. I could have spent hours exploring.
Yesterday, my husband and I ventured into LA to explore the Last Bookstore. And it was heavenly. Just look at that main floor! And upstairs... stay tuned for my next post about the labyrinth. 😍📚💜
There's a book tunnel right next to the horror vault at The Last Bookstore in LA. This place is so cool.

Spending my Saturday evening at one of my favorite places in L.A. - The Last Bookstore.
Sedona, I am thoroughly taken with you. And yet something is missing. Oh right- you have NO bookstores. Not one that isn't a metaphysical store as well. It's a serious gap. Please look into fixing that before I return, because you are truly spectacular. So spectacular that I wasn't upset that I didn't bring a book. That's saying something...
Not quite what I expected, however, it was fun to read and funny in its own way. One could also say tragic (?)
