“You loved all of it - the good and the bad?”
I smiled a bit. “Especially the bad.”
All of those wretched things. The pride and the hypocrisy and the shame. The rage and the cowardice and the hurt.
I may, or may not have stayed up all hours of the night to read this one. My goodness it is so good and full of so many ups and downs.
Book #3 in the series. So much happens! I almost thought it was ending here, but luckily it keeps going. The war with Hybern is not what anyone was expecting. Many bargains were made. Only time will tell if they were worth it.
“i have no intention of discussing business with enemies” “no you‘re just in the business of fucking them” IM SORRY WHAT 😭😭😭
I am so glad these are fast reads- and I‘m reading again- I have this on kindle too so able to just read while waiting. These books really helped with moments of escape from the past few weeks- but most of all i‘m so glad my brain can focus on reading again 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
3✨ This is a re-read for me so my opinions are about the same. I‘m not a fan of all the battles and strategies, which I understand are necessary. However, I did enjoy this more with GraphicAudio.
If you haven‘t had a chance to relive this story using GraphicAudio oh man! This was my lowest rated book in the series, and this companion with the book has been so much more fun! 🤩
Feeling crummy, but at least I have hot chocolate and my favorite dog cuddle partner. With a good book #DogsofLitsy Tess
@TheSpineView here is my (short) wrap-up for the readathon. I managed to only make a dent in one book (I finished it a day later), but we did get to enjoy the sunshine ☀️ and the beach 🏖️ as a family of 3 one last time, and that was special. #recentlyread 💙
It was nice to have at least a temporary happy ending for everyone. It will be interesting to see just how long that actually lasts. Mostly, it was just nice to not have a huge cliffhanger again.

I am enjoying the series. This one had more action in it. There were a lot of twists and turns in this book. Can't wait to read the next book in the series. I rated this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
This book was BRUTAL!!!! I felt like I couldn‘t breathe with the fights and the blood and tragedy. Amazing story, heartbreaking sacrifices. Love this beautiful family
My favourite of the series so far. Loved the development of the wider plot and how the various court dynamics interplay and allowed for various twists and surprises. I don't know what those who seem to dislike these books are looking for, or whether they could write anything better themselves! I think they are a well crafted example of quality writing with interesting nods to the fantasy canon that came before.
This one‘s a pretty alright fantasy, somewhat surprisingly (see my reviews for the other two…), but also VERY trope driven. I did like the nods to both Tolkien and Lewis, but could‘ve done without the weird Exodus (yes, the bible one) inspired parts. Overall, I think this originally-a-trilogy-now-a-hexalogy-to-be should‘ve been a duology with acotar and acomaf being one title, primarily focused on the acomaf events.
I gotta say: these religious undertones are getting a lil‘ heavy handed, my good pal.
WOW! Didn‘t expect such a bloodbath! Confusing at times because of all the characters and long-winded descriptions. But I really really enjoyed this!!! Is it wrong that I‘m in love with everyone?? 🥵 I don‘t know what I want to happen, but I‘m INVESTED
A bit of an update from me - juggling my masters with my work is getting veeeeery crazy right now. I‘m writing up my dissertation and in ‘final push‘ mode and it‘s all going to be A Lot now through September. But my friend got me hooked on the acotar books and I am having the best time. I‘m reading much more slowly than I usually do but it‘s such a wonderful immersive hot bath of a series
Maybe it gets better but I couldn‘t even get to chapter three. The female lead character came across and annoying. She might try again later if there is a reason.
My heart! This is a fantastic edition to the series! A roller coaster of emotions with battle scenes that will have you stunned. Highly recommend this one!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Why do I keep reading these? The same type of battle scenes, same sex scenes over and over, the use of the word “mate” hundreds of times, and this just feels like nothing new is happening that needs this book to be 700 pages.Girl gets herself in trouble, she‘s rescued by mythical creatures, the boy creatures fight over her, she finds herself, she fights, everyone fights, ooh magic and wings and lots of graphic unoriginal sex.The end.Book #56 in2024
Well I dove into this hyped up series. I liked it. Not sure it lives up to the hype. I liked fourth wing better, but I will probably read the next one
This went from I should be on a book buying ban for the summer to well… I need to finish my set. 😅
I'm behind on my reviews cuz this year has been a whirlwind. But I finally finished the base trilogy of ACOTAR and man I loved it. I don't do series often but this one was definitely worth it. Taking a quick hiatus and reading some other stuff but I'll be back for the last two. And probably SJMs others as well because now I'm hooked lol
I never thought I would enjoy this genre of book before but oh my I do. There is everything in them. Laughter, cringes, excitement, light horror, thrills, chills, and tears.
This book takes on another ride with the Faes. You get get to know a bit more about each character. More about their lives, fears, and loves. More about their strengths and weaknesses. More about their truths.

I thought the ending to the last one would motivate me to read this one - it did not. First book in series was great, second was low pick, and after sending my hold back twice on this one, I finally accepted it. Each time I go to read - it is meh - I'm just not excited to get back to it. #unpopularopinion but I am letting go of this series.
Make a great day everyone 📚
I am reading the ACOTAR series & i cant stopping thinking of this beautifully crafted puerto rican artisan art. The very small tea light inside changes colors This also happens to be one of my favorite #litsyswaps gifts i have ever gotten. It‘s from @Gissy i want to say it‘s from the swap I hosted for my birthday in 2018 but since we‘ve been paired a few times over the years im not 100% sure. What‘s one of your cherished gifts from #litsyswaps ?
This was so good. Defiantly will continue the series.
Ive never read any books by Sarah J. Maas (i prefer to do the opposite of what‘s@the fad) but I really dont want to wait anymore. Which series should I start with? Does it matter? Should I read it in tandem? Let me know your thoughts! I love fantasy and smut/dark romance
Feyre was married in secret to Rhysand and is now High Lady of the Night Court. She returns as a spy to the Spring Court with Tamlin, pretending that she had been brainwashed into staying with Rhysand in the Night Court for all those months. Secretly, Feyre is seething with anger and plots revenge.

Reading this one today. Almost done with it. I have 267 pages left to it. I need to sit down and finish it. I been reading If I Run which is a really good book by the way and I recommend you read it. But today I am reading this one.
Starting this book with carryover anxiety from the last one. 😬 At least I have emotional support cuddles. #lennox #catsoflitsy
Currently reading this one. Loving it. Think its my favorite out of them so far.

Feyre and Rhysand from the ACOTAR series. I truly loved watching there love change and grow through the series. I loved the way Rhys always gave her what she needed wether she knew it or not. He helped her grow her power, regain her confidence, taught her to fight and helped her get her revenge. He made her his equal.

Oh man, this book was absolutely amazing 🥹 the third book in the series and my favourite so far📚 I love so many of the characters 🥰 I‘m excited to start the next one in the series! 🤓
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I'm not an emotional reader by any means. I have never cried while reading a book.... until this ripped my heart from my chest. I would give this a thousand stars if I could.
I am so glad that I picked up the second book in this series even though ACOTAR was just ok. Both the second and third book were intense and thrilling and I can‘t wait to read the novella and final book.
