I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join the fun if you want.

Nothing like a good middle grade murder mystery. The plot twists are amazing and the character development is spot on. First in the series, can‘t wait to read the rest.
This 2013 Newbery Honor Book, suitable for middle graders, is about a plucky sixth grader who helps to solve a mystery in her town. Lovable characters and a good introduction to mystery genre for preteens.

My 6th grade book clubs finished reading Inexplicable Events in the Life of a Cactus and this week started a couple new titles. I opened it up to the entire 6th grade again, and had even more kids sign up! My M/W group is enjoying Three Times Lucky and my T/Th group seems really excited about Small Spaces.
I love seeing kids so excited about books!
We are working on summer reading and earning badge from our local library and this was recommended to us today by the librarian. I had never heard of it! Anyone familiar with this one? It won the Newbery Honor Award.
Good book but it could be more exciting? Although I loved the settings and how the characters personality's were!
This was a hilarious and charming mystery for middle grade readers. The cast of characters are unique and interesting. I love Mo as the story‘s narrator. Her attitude and observations are wonderful! I just learned that it‘s the first book in a series, so I‘m excited to read the sequels.
Finished this last night with the kids. It is aimed at my 5th grader and he gives it 5 out of 5. Just enough peril to keep you turning the pages without being too upsetting for a tween. Nothing predictable, compelling situations all the way through. #ThankfullyReading #BedtimeBookClub
Reading this with my 12 year old for her book club. Laugh out loud funny, so far!
I could not love this main character more! She calls people on their bad behavior in a most delightful way!

I absolutely love Mo LoBeau and all her friends in the quirky southern town of Tupelo Landing. Mo is a great character full of smarts, sass, heart and vulnerability. A great detective series that makes me smile and laugh out loud. I'm going to be sad when this ends.
A lighthearted, hilarious mystery for the 4-6th grade sleuth (or for anyone who needs a laugh).
This was a charming read. Quite enjoyed it and loved the main characters.
This was a fun, quirky junior fiction mystery which I thoroughly enjoyed. The characters were delightful and the plot was quick-paced and a bit twisty.
A fun junior fiction murder mystery for bookclub. This one was picked by a member who is not a native English speaker, would also be great for those 13-14 year old reluctant readers. The characters are gorgeous! #litsyAtoZ #letterT.
Introducing my sometimes elusive reading companion. He's nearly 20 and likes his own way. He also has dementia. #catsoflitsy
My kids had a sleep over at my parents house last night. That means it's 9am and I'm reading in bed... in peace. Bliss. The cat also thinks this is wonderful and has come to join me.
Other than Flavia, of course, my favorite #childprotagonists are Mo and Dale! #photoadaynov16
I think that this book is very good. It's is about a girl who was raised by a man with long term memory loss and a lady who owns a cafe. She learns about trust and she learns how to act grown up. This book teaches me about characters motivations and why they do the things they do. This book also shows how those motivations can be conflicting with other characters, other characters motivations, and how theses thug can be conflicting.
My #feelgoodbooks are the Tupelo Landing mystery series. I love Mo and Dale and enjoy going along on all their mystery-solving adventures. My middle school students devour these ones, too. #augustofpages #augustphotochallenge
First time visiting a Little Free Library! #littlefreelibrary
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5. A wonderful mystery, and a heartwarming ending. Will definitely be reading #2 in the series !
" Miss Lana says her life's a tapestry. Mine's more of a crazy quilt stitched together with whatever happened to be at hand. Then there's the Colonel ... ' Wool blanket," he said, "warm, scratchy, too ugly to steal." Chapter 3, and already in love with this book and its characters ??? Can't wait to read the rest of the series
First in a series (trilogy?) of mystery adventures. Missed this one when it won the Newbery Honor and recently discovered book three. Well, have to start at the beginning!
