I've been feeling quite a bit of stress at work lately, so I'm struggling with Sunday evening anxiety. Trying to counteract with some self-care coloring time while watching the last two HP movies.

BooksAndTeaJulie @swishandflick Isn‘t that always the way? The anxiety ends up being worse than the actual day. 🙄😣 Today was way better than expected for me too!! We had a 2 hour early release due to weather!! It turned out to be a pretty great Monday. 💕 (edited) 6y

cariashley Jealous you're in Evora, I heard it was beautiful but didn't make it there. I did go to Estremoz in Alentejo which was pretty cool. 8y

I haven't touched this coloring book in a while but thanks to Litsy, I decided to again today when I couldn't concentrate on my physical book. I plugged in my audiobook and went to town. Love Johanna Basford's adult coloring books so much! 🖍

MariaCristina @readinginthedark I recognize those pens! They're by Staedler. I love 'em! The triangular barrel makes them comfy to grip, the points are fine, and they come in so many colors. Not too much bleed. The case they come in is pretty sturdy, too (especially when most pens come without a case at all). If they ever stopped making them, I would probably stop color-coding my planner. 😜 8y

BookishFeminist @Laalaleighh Oh no! TBH I can't do it for long periods of time either- this took forever because I always got up to do breaks. Also doing it on a high table like mine helps with the neck pain. But thank you!! I hope you can find some less painful coloring sometime ❤️ 8y

BookishFeminist @LauraBrook @Laru79 Haha I totally get that! That's why I put it down for so long. I can look at Instagram creations of them for so long though and that gave me the inspiration to dive in without as much fear of making a mess. Besides that's what coloring books are for sometimes! 8y

I bought this coloring book for myself as a birthday present. I believe it's one of my best buys. It's a great stress reliever and it helps me take my mind off work when I need it. The artwork is beyond amazing and simply beautiful. I cant wait to order another one of Johanna's books.
