Getting into this book took some time. The beginning part was really depressing, it lacked a certain joy I expect from a Christmas book. I did like the story though, it was just a bit on the overly serious side.

Another one done. The last one for the day. #24B4Monday #DashingDecember #Readathon #WinterSolstice #WinterGames2020 #ReadNosedReindeer
Finished this book on 12/4. It's +25 for a Holiday Read, +5 for Book to Movie (Hallmark), and +1 for my post for a grand total of +31 points for team #MerryReaders #WinterGames2020
Cute, quick holiday read! I enjoyed the story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a new Hallmark Christmas movie two years ago and it quickly became one of my favorites. I even went back and read the book after watching it. #WinterGames #TheFilthyAnimals
A quick read that just made me feel happy!! 💜💜💜
Making my first ever apple pie today🥧 to celebrate thanksgiving with my family a little early. Also re-reading one of my favorite Christmas novels. #tistheseason
Went book shopping today!!
Cheesy predictable easy read! Cute for the holiday. #seasonsreadings #mistletoe @vkois88 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
Normally I enjoy a fluffy Richard Paul Evans Christmas romance this time of year, but it was too hard to suspend my disbelief for this one & recently read The Noel Stranger. In the latter a woman goes off to Mexico with a guy about a week after they met. In the tagged book a guy she meets at a writers‘ conference in VT flies her to PA & NYC after knowing him for 3 days. Not believable. Close 3rd #worstreads of 2018: The Slave Across the Street.
I liked the #Hallmark movie last year but this was a snooze fest. Way too much telling, no showing & the main characters hadn‘t met yet at 30% in. I also didn‘t like the way he was using the father having cancer in the plot. Next! #christmasreads #romantsy
This douche canoe. 🤦🏽♀️ he also says there is a war on men, specifically white men. He has also been accused of sexual harassment at Salt Lake Comic Con.

This was really cute, had some issues that the main character had to work through, but overall, I liked it and enjoyed watching the Hallmark movie that went along with it. Classic Hallmark, feel-good type of book 💕🌲 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you liked this book, please explain to me why? The main characters were badly written and I think Evans might have a super high opinion of himself!!
"The King of Christmas" -- I think not. These are too depressing for me.
I am loving the mistletoe series and thought it was super fun that this one and the first one are tied together in a neat way!! All of these Christmas reads are making me have unreal expectations when it comes to men... lol!!!
I love that parts of of the type are in a Christmasy green color... very festive!

On Thanksgiving, I watched this Hallmark Christmas movie. It‘s great; all about a creative writer on a week long conference retreat, where she finds creative inspiration and romance!!!
On Facebook, there was a contest to win one of two signed copies of the book; had to say why I loved Christmas. I used a 🎄 metaphor and the rule of three.
And guess what? I won!!! See the picture.
Not my favorite story. It was sweet and it had bright points but overall left me a bit dissatisfied, I'm not exactly sure what was missing but... Yeah, just not quite there.
"I'm not sure where home is anymore, but I want to be there." I have felt this way so many times.
