I ended up making 113 words. Thank goodness for google sheets! Helped me alphabetize and make sure I didn‘t have any duplicates

Playing this week's #Scarathlon game, and I keep finding myself grumbling, “My kingdom for a G and an I.“

How're you all faring #TeamWhoYaGonnaCall?

AmandaBlaze At around midnight, I saw the L in Scarathloners as an I. When I realized my mistake, I had a lot of crossing out to do. 13mo
FlynnDewey @AmandaBlaze I thought there was an I at one point as well. Luckily I only had two to erase. 13mo

I have been in such a reading slump the past couple days but I took that time to work out some anagrams for #TeamHendrix for our week 1 game. Anagrams are one thing I am really good at. Two days of work led to 930 words and I finally feel up to reading a bit more now.

How many words can I come up with given "Happy Haloween Team Harkness"? Apparently 217 of them.

This was interesting in the way it retold the stories of the characters in different ways. I liked the earlier sections a little bit better than the later, and all of it just left me feeling melancholy.

Katies_always_booked This is fun! I‘m new here, how do you create a graphic like this? 4y
Daisey @Katies_always_booked Welcome to Litsy! I use images of the book covers from Goodreads and organize them with the app Over. Then I add the audiobook stickers in Litsy. 4y
Katies_always_booked Great thanks! I do a monthly shelf with PicCollage but Over is exactly the app I need! I may start making a weekly now! 🤗 4y
kroberts I‘m new too...a bit worried that joining the Litsy community will mean my “to read” list gets even longer! I‘m enjoying seeing the different types of posts people put up. You have got so much and so many ideas one post and it looks great! 4y
Daisey @kroberts Thanks, and yes, there‘s a good chance your TBR will explode. However, it‘s well worth it! The weekly #BookReport & #WeeklyForecast hashtags were started by @Cinfhen but I do mine slightly different with a combined post. @Katies_always_booked (edited) 4y

Pickpick

A Lorrie Moore classic that I had somehow not gotten around to yet. Different versions of the same characters reenact different versions of their relationship - sometimes one is deeper in love, sometimes the other.

Pickpick

This isn‘t a novel or short stories. Moore makes anagrams of her characters‘ lives. A little confusing, a little experimental, great wordplay, and definitely interesting. I understand why this book is on the list. 1001books

BarbaraBB I am very curious about this book. I really enjoyed her 7y
DreesReads @BarbaraBB I am approaching halfway through. I like it, but it‘s not a typical novel, it‘s definitely got an experimental touch. We‘ll see what I think when I‘m done. 7y
AshleyHoss820 @BarbaraBB I grabbed A Gate at the Stairs from the library last week! Now I‘m excited! I‘ve owned Anagrams for a while but haven‘t picked it up yet. 6y

I‘m not totally sure what I think about this book. It is sad, clever, and surprising, all at once. Dancing between reality and imagination, you are never totally sure where you are.
