#AutumnPlease! Day 13: For #WorldEggDay, here‘s brunch today with morning flatbread consisting of eggs, kale pesto, mozzarella, kashkaval and akkawi, sundried tomato, and pine nuts. If we have video here on Litsy, I would have gladly shared the video of our server preparing this in front of us. 💕

A quirky novel about two very complicated, damaged children (David and Primrose) has much to say about friendship, loss, and recovery.

Love this book, it really gives me strong emotions. I love the way Jerry Spinelli writes.

Cute book about friendship. It meanders a bit but overall I liked it.
The story has nothing to do with eggs but you‘ll see eggs splatter in every other scenario. David, the main character also met Primrose in an Easter egg hunt 🤷🏻♀️
It‘s establishing some sort of continuation in the story line-Easter egg hunting, David finding eggs splatter on the van. I get it.
For those who have read the book, am I the only person here who thinks that Primrose‘s mom needs to be under CPS investigation? 🤔
Still reading Eggs by Jerry Spinelli. I‘m wondering whether or not I should start posting my reviews here on Litsy instead of Goodreads. Do you guys use both apps? Which app do you prefer to write reviews on? #litsyvsgoodreads #bookreviews
Currently reading Eggs by Jerry Spinelli. I‘m taking a break from reading the Arrows Trilogy, and I might continue once again with that book once I‘m done reading this one. I got this free from a school library that was cleaning out their shelves. I love getting free books 🧡
I thought I remembered a lot more about this book than I actually did. I remembered it was about a little boy who‘s having a hard time with life because his mother recently passed away, but I forgot all about Refrigerator John and Primrose. Once again, I‘ve loved this reread. ♥️ #Throwbackreadathon
Im almost at 4 hours for the #24in48 ! 👏
I managed to read for just over 2 hours before I simply couldn‘t keep my eyes open anymore. I couldn‘t even stay up to post about the rest of the books I read for #ThrowbackReadathon ❤️
Next up for #audiobooking. I can‘t wait until I get home and can read from my own collection. Until then it‘s more audiobooks for me. I simply CANT WAIT for this weekend to begin. ❤️😱💙 #ThrowbackReadathon
"Eggs" follows the story of a 9 year old boy whose mother just died and a 13 year old girl who is neglected as they befriend each other and decide to run away as they try to make sense of their shifting worlds. 3.75 ⭐️ it was sweet and sad in a not to overwhelmingly horrible way. Good to read once.
