Beautiful book that shows the read that it is okay to be different and to not judge a book by its cover. Prefect read for the fall.

Picturebook. The legend of Spookley is a fun book about a square pumpkin that saves the day. This book shows us that being different is a good thing. The action of the story is coupled perfectly with the illustrations. The illustrations really pull it all together with the movement and color bringing the book to life. Overall beautiful story and a good October/fall read.

I decided to read some Halloween kid books today.

Although they were all cute, Spookley was my favorite. I loved this adorable story of a pumpkin who is different who realizes that he's being different can be a good thing.

This is our new favorite book! My kid fell in deep love with the movie on Netflix, so of course we just had to go find the book. It‘s a sweet story about how being different can be a good thing, there are adorable illustrations and it rhymes! 🎃

When Maya was in 2nd grade, her teacher read aloud this Spookley book. I only learned this fact tonight, 4 years later, when browsing Netflix! So we read the picture book together on Hoopla to relive the preschool years and are getting ready to watch the movie. 😂 It's a cute and sweet story!
