It took me longer than expected to finish this book. By the time I finished it though, I was grinning from ear to ear. Definitely recommend if you‘re into fairytales with a twist!

While not as “unputdownable” as the other books in the Twisted Tales series, this was still a lovely read. I enjoyed the contrast of realty vs. fairytale theme the was throughout it, also the King‘s sister was an amazing new character who really was the best part of the whole book.

So enjoyed reading this! Great villain, I really wanted to reach into the book and punch them. Loved the kings sister, I just wish there was more of her.

This Twisted Tale was fun! Elizabeth Lim writes well, and she chose an interesting villain to oppose Cinderella once she was out of Lady Tremaine‘s house. The new character of the king‘s sister is absolutely delightful. I wish I could read her story next!

This is the 10th book in the series and the 2nd by Lim (She did the Mulan story Reflection).

For those wondering you DO NOT have to read them in order.
