Page two of son‘s reading Harry Potter in first grade—12 years ago!!
Since son is off to his first year in college, it‘s time to scrapbook first grade (I‘m a bit behind. But the nostalgia is worth the wait.). Anyway, here‘s my first grader reading Harry Potter. I don‘t know which book he‘s reading here, but he started the series before kindergarten started. And don‘t you just love the scrapbooking paper?
There‘s a guy that works in the lab where I work, and I‘ve always thought he looks like Stephen King. You can‘t tell as much in this photo, but he really looks like he could be a brother to him. I‘ve never talked to him before, but he always has a book with him (another point!); he‘s reading the Harry Potter series right now. Yes. I always try to see what book he has👀📚
I just saw this announcement from Audible. There‘s going to be full cast audiobooks for the Harry Potter series. I‘ve already listened to the books narrated by Jim Dale. I haven‘t heard them being narrated by Stephen Fry. I don‘t know if I‘m going to listen to them being narrated by a full cast. I don‘t know why they didn‘t do it with a full cast to begin with but it makes sense because there‘s so many characters.

March 27 #MarchMagic Favorite Banned Book I remember when these came out and some Christians wanted to ban these books from schools. As a Christian myself, I saw more that these books were more about friendships and finding yourself. I let my children read them. @eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks

Watched the 5th Harry Potter movie last night when I realized the heat wasn't working. Of course it was the first night of the season to drop below freezing so it's been chilly and I've been consuming vast amounts of hot cider and tea. Furnace won't be able to be fixed until tomorrow so in the mean time I'm bundled up and baking to warm the house 🍞☕️

A graduation gift from my mom arrived today! She got me Harry Potter bookends that I‘ve been wanting, but have not bought for myself 💙 My HP shelf is super full & they wouldn‘t fit or be seen, so I decided by books of Royals (some of them aren‘t there right now) would be the next best place 🤷♀️
