3✨ Not as good as the other meant to be books in the series. It had a great slow developing relationship, and sweet moments for Ren who was very sheltered growing up. This Rapunzel retelling was so charming. This is the first in this series (Meant to Be) that I‘ve read. I‘ve had this on my shelf for a bit. Christina Lauren are authors I usually enjoy so this was a no brainer pick for April‘s #TBRtarot
The MCs grow, open up, struggle & get their HEA. CL respects the Tangled story while still making it uniquely their own.

How did I not realize this book is part of a series by multiple authors to reimagine Disney princess plots? Of course, this is the Rapunzel tale, and it‘s definitely an interesting twist with her growing up on a homestead away from technology. Ren and Fitz shine as lovable characters, but you definitely need to suspend belief for some parts - still, I enjoyed it.

Tangled is my favorite Disney movie and I really enjoyed this modern retelling! There is a lot of character growth in the MCs, and I was charmed the entire time. I‘m also a big fan of writing duo Christina Lauren, so I guess I‘m doubly biased! This is the 2nd book in the series that I‘ve read, and definitely want to read the others.

This whole series has Disney reimaginings. This one is Tangled! There are many similarities to the movie. While some of them seem a bit out of place for this narrative. The climatic scene is a little too tidy and there‘s only a paragraph conclusion. Overall a good book. I appreciated the slow build romance, both changed, and they do get their HEA ❤️

Modern retelling - the movie story in a real world setting - I don't thing it translated great into a book. Anyway, there‘s nothing spectacular wrong with the story, but there‘s nothing outstanding about it as well...

Loved this fun retelling of the movie Tangled! And I realized I missed a book in this series, so off to start it now😍

I loved this #RapunzelRetelling based on Disney‘s retelling, #Tangled. Raised on an isolated, off-grid homestead, Ren at 22 convinces her parents to let her attend college if she follows their rules of no dating, makeup, internet, cell phones & comes home to do her chores every weekend. But a surprise result in a biology class sets her off on a cross country road trip with Fitz, seeing the world (& some forced proximity romantic moments). So fun!

Definitely my favorite so far in the Disney-inspired Meant To Be series! Christina Lauren do a great job putting this well-known Disney story into its own, new context.
Tangled has so much character development for the two main characters, and the authors really capture that in this story. There are lots of little nods to the original movie, but it also felt uniquely its own, which is quite a feat!

This was the most delightful, charming fairytale retelling-maybe the best I‘ve ever read! Christina Lauren have reimagined Tangled in a modern, realistic way with complicated characters that you can‘t help but fall for. This releases June 25th and I can‘t wait until everyone reads it so we can all fan girl over it. Now I really want to watch Tangled! #BookspinBingo #netgalleygroup @TheAromaofBooks

This has started off cute, and I expect to love it, but listening to the narrators read off the email addresses over and over in the audio version is annoying.
