2019ReadingGoals

Due to #Scarathlon goodness, I met my 2019 reading goal on GR! It was looking like I wouldn't make it, but now anything else I read is gravy. I'm hoping to get closer to 100, but we'll see. I'll likely read more this month, but November is for NaNoWriMo and December is historically a low reading time as I'm super busy.

A New Chapter | Catherine Lievens

Last year was a bust for all but one of my reading challenges so in 2019, I'm going to stick to the #LitsyAtoZ & Goodreads challenges & try to complete #SFFTBRChallenge. I'm not going to worry about anything else. It's one thing to challenge myself but not if it makes reading stressful. I may use some of the popular challenges for inspiration if I'm stuck with a book hangover, but that's it. #2019ReadingGoals #ANewChapter #AbecedarianTBR

2019: A Book of Grace-Filled Days | Margaret Felice

I‘m not planning any specific prompt based challenges this year, at least for now. I‘m going to try to read more of the books I already own (average of at least 2 a month) with an unofficial #MtTBR, continue reading books on the #1001books list, and keep up with my #CovertoCover postal book club. I also hope to keep reading with #LitsyBookClub and various readalongs. To start the year, those include #YearofTolkien and #Genji.

SaturnDoo I had to get away from the prompt based challenges for a couple years. I ❤them, but they were time consuming and started robbing me of my joy. I mainly just do the mt tbr and others similar to it. 😊 good luck on your goals. You can do it!!!! 5y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa Yep! That‘s where I am too, the no prompts challenges. I‘m even pulling back a bit from #Reading1001 this year unless it‘s one already on my to read pile or accessible at the library. I‘m doing a NF challenge, but picking from books I already have, a #MountTBR also picking from my own books, and a series read catch-up which are all series on my personal to-read list. 5y

Daisey @Riveted_Reader_Melissa I‘m still considering the 1001books my main challenge for this year, but I have so many books on that list yet that I can pretty much get by with classics and library books. I‘ve never done Mt. TBR before, so giving it a try this year and starting small. 5y

Betty I agree with you @Daisey I‘m spending 2019 reading for fun, what I want when I want. Plus #covertocover because you gals introduce me to books I‘ve never heard of. It is a fun group 5y

Book Lust: Recommended Reading for Every Mood, Moment, and Reason | Nancy Pearl

#2019ReadingGoals I‘m keeping it simple ,just a Goodreads goal , and #Booked2019. I am easily distracted, go on mood reading tangents, I don‘t want reading to become stressful, as it is one of the few things that gets rid of stress.I missed my #LitsyAtoZ last year by 4 letters/titles.Who knows may finish it in 2019.😀
