1. Surgery date scheduled for my shoulder: 8.20. It's my right shoulder, and I'm right-handed, so three weeks in a sling should be interesting. 😅

dabbe @mcctrish You know, I never really think how hard it is for left-handed people. Are you able to use left-handed devices for all of those things? It's funny. I use my right hand for everything EXCEPT balance. Like when I'm driving; if I drive one-handed, it's with my left hand. Weird. 🤣 3w

kspenmoll Denise I just know your surgery will go well it‘s tough when it‘s right side and you‘re right handed. I had shoulder surgery two years ago this September on my right as well. You‘ll be able to do it. It‘s amazing what your left hand can do! I will stay in touch and I‘m there for you throughout your healing process. And then you have the marvelous Matt.❤️❤️❤️❤️ 2w

IriDas Thursday‘s game was really good. I enjoyed it, even though the Dodgers lost. Last night‘s game—that was wild. But I‘m a fan of the game, as well as the Dodgers, so it wasn‘t as enjoyable as it was entertaining. :) I had predicted they‘d each take two games, they‘re halfway there. 3mo

While I'm good with variety posts, I'm rather new here on Litsy and only know the Litsy as it has been since my joining this magical community.

I find Litsy a safe place, a gathering place that serves a community of members like a mom and pop bookstore. We recognize one another if we visit often. We learn about one another, celebrate each other, offer emotional support, etc.

DogMomIrene @dabbe Thanks! Lots of people in US looking to move internationally. I‘ve talked to a few friends about it. Many options. Canada‘s looking for skilled workers, especially in healthcare. Hubby was a nurse. That‘s how we got a work permit and applied for PR. 6mo
