I was stuck with coming up with the best day of my life (picking one 'is too hard--I'm a Libra) ?so I went with a bunch of days from my book stacks. All six of these books have 'day' in their title and I think some of the various days they contain are better than others.. but that's what I got. I've read the first 4 and the last 2 are in my #TBR. The title that can't be seen is "A Thousand Days in Venice."

The best day of my life was probably being born I guess - which made me think of this book. Saleem Sinai is born at the exact moment of independence of India (and separation from Pakistan). Somehow his life will mirror the nation, contain the fates of millions. This is a mind bending book and I‘m so glad university introduced Rushdie to me - always in my top 5 authors.

I‘ve dreamt of having my own library since I was a little girl, to finally get my wish granted was amazing. It‘s not that big & it may not be all that fancy, but I love it very very much.💕💕💕💕💕

Someone put beautiful wedding pictures for today‘s prompt #bestdayofmylife and so I‘m putting this book. I bought it on our honeymoon in NC. I have been blessed with the chance to marry my best friend. Next Monday will be our 7 year wedding anniversary and 10 years together. (Side note: Nicholas Sparks is a guilty pleasure of mine and sometimes I am a sucker for a mooooshy love story!) #getmovin

I‘m not saying this is the #bestdayofmylife, but coming home to this sight after over a week away is quite lovely 😍
