I stayed up late and got up early to finish this one. I loved it. Such great writing and what a story! #MayMadness #mayScavengerHunt #floweroncover #withadoginit

I applaud Norman for sharing her story, and I really loved the first bit of this book, but it just really could have used some better editing.

Roundup of my second quarter of #Booked2018. I'm having so much fun with these prompts - I'd never have found the steampunk-title if it wasn't for this, and it's /so good!/

On to the next one! ♥
I‘m a huge fan of the slow burn of magical realism stories, and this one is no exception! A mystical story that reminds me of Isabel Allende‘s novels, perfect for readers who don‘t mind a drawn out story with lyrical writing but not a lot of plot. I loved the diversity and bisexual representation, which you don‘t see very often in magical realism.

Diving in to what I hope will be a light read! The premise sounds interesting, and I am so happy to have a quiet morning at home! 🏡 ☕️ 📖 🌺🌼🌸

Since I had fallen behind in reading because my job has been crazy, I decided to use a graphic novel for #booked2018 #floweroncover. Happened to find this on hoopla and thought it sounded interesting. It was and it incorporates Monet's works into the story. Interesting biography. (Yes those are flowers on the lily pads.)

Ugh I‘m so sad. I have been looking forward to this book for so long. I didn‘t really see much of a correlation to Snow White and the relationships were so detached. I had hoped there would have been more tension and excitement in this book, but it just fell flat for me. #booked2018 #floweroncover
