so-so#justfinished - it was interesting but I‘m really curious about her new book.
I read this one for book club and almost no one showed up and those who did didn‘t like it. You did have to suspend a lot of disbelief to read this one.
Also orange muffins are love.
bailedThis book should have been perfect. It‘s got plenty of Greek mythology references, its poetry (which I‘m obsessed with these days), & the poems have some really fantastic titles. But it really let me down!
I felt like most of the poems were just words strung together without any thought for their meaning.

pickI really enjoyed this! Didn't think I would ever describe a #murder #mystery as cozy, funny, and quirky, but that's what it is! The characters were a hoot. The friendship was vibrant. And the adventures had me ready to pack my own bags and join the gang at Coopers Chase!

She touches on so many important, complex concepts with nonsense and integrity. I think she's one of the best black women leaders in our country. Who also happens to be conservative.
Glad I took the time to read it; I look forward to more from this intelligent woman.

pickJust finished this one. We watched the show first but the book of course was leagues better. I wish they had followed some of those storylines in the show instead of what they did. Tho I do wonder if the show will get a second season. Or a sequel with the book either. I know I‘d read it.
