Having people over means that I finally trimmed the trees a bit and brushed up the leaves, so people could enjoy the pool without being attacked by foliage. For #Fridaythe13th Readathon I read seven books, I finished six of them. Three were a group of Poe's short stories. The Battle for The Pumpkin King and Strega Nona were fantastic. Kitten's First Full Moon was adorable. And so far, The Physick Book Of Deliverance Dane is good.

My #OctoberBucketList. We tend to have really nice Octobers, so it's a great time to garden. And very handy for outdoor parties, because my group of friends are all still covid-cautious.
