Last night we unexpectedly had to say goodbye to our Sparrow. She wasn‘t feeling well and wouldn‘t eat. We took her to urgent care where we were told she had developed a very rare complication from diabetes that required a very aggressive treatment with a low survival rate. She was declining so quickly we had to make the hard decision to let her go. She was a good reading buddy; the kitty who liked to sleep with my books. She will be missed. 💔💔

Wanted to read this because I love the movie. There‘s so much story not included in the film. This is a very dense story that can take a little while to get through. It‘s well written with amazing descriptions, magical realism, and an awesome horse. There is some horse cruelty I didn‘t like.
