The main thing that stood out to me in this story is the way the illustrator bolded the pictures and made them look comic-like with their black borders and skinny pages. The pictures also pull weight in telling the story without words.
This book would be wonderful to use with children in teaching then the importance of listening to adults so they can be safe.
